If they want to stop underground farming bots why don’t they just make nodes require Line of sight and pathing to them to harvest? (ie, if you can’t shadowstep to it, you can’t harvest it.)
This is actually a really great idea, a line of sight requirement certainly wouldn’t take too much programming to implement and it definitely would be more elegant than the instant death zone I suggested.
I’ve been thinking about ways that the rampant underground farming bots could be mitigated as it is near impossible to report them individually since their names only flash up on the screen for a split second so here is my suggestion regarding the issue:
Dear devs, why don’t you create an instant death field beneath every gatherable node? The area would only have to be as small as the interaction range of the node and it wouldn’t affect anyone but the bots.
I have this same issue. I unlocked my elite spec on 1 of my mesmerswhile in HotM and did not unlock the specialization collection for him nor did I get the shield. I only noticed that something was up when my friend pinged me the chronomancer shield she received for unlocking the elite spec. I relogged on my other mesmer afterwards and unlocked the first few points into the spec while in pve and promptly received the skin.
I’ve already spent hero points on my necro and still have the reaper collection marked as locked. Please have this looked into.
The lighting of the left eye is inverted which gives off an oddly cross-eyed appearance.
A bit annoying considering that you have to spend gems to make use of this cosmetic change.
This visual bug has been present since these new faces have been introduced and I think it’s about time this sees a fix.
I swear there was another topic about this issue, but doing a quick search yielded nothing.
Anyway, I crafted Eternal Sands for my Norn Mesmer a while back and while it looks accurately aligned when logging in, the moment I get into combat and then stow my weapons it ends up kinda stuck half way into my Norn’s hip.
This seems to happen on both male and female Norn. I’d appreciate if it could get fixed. I absolutely love this focus but this one bug has been…well, bugging me ever since I’ve crafted it.
I’ve noticed that if you pick up the flamethrower at the beginning the mote will not appear. Go as far as speaking with caithe, the mote should appear afterwards. Sorry for potato writing. Using phone
This did not work for me. I tried speaking to the first ghost on the oldest character I have (created at launch, and yes I checked his age.) and I couldn’t interact with her.
so I have a question, is this chest a separate reward or did it only contain the tickets for the weapon skins? Because if there was an extra chest beyond that I am definitely missing mine as well.

HOWEVER GM Shaolin ShadowBoxing has only linked me to two articles regarding the Wardrobe system as if I am not aware of how it works. My issue has NOT been resolved and I’d very much like a second review from somebody else.
My problem is with the Guild Pillar staff skin that I’ve purchased with gold and guild commendations from the trader at Gendarran Fields. I received a popup telling me that the skin has been unlocked, so I went ahead and vendored the staff before switching to an alt to use the skin on, only to find that the wardrobe didn’t in fact unlock the skin at all.
I have a slight concern regarding the way the game might group people together in the future. It has been mentioned that it will be attempted to get people speaking the same language together.
I am German but I primarily communicate in English as I despise my native tongue. I just wonder if I will be forced to play with other German players even though my home is on Desolation and all of my in-game communications are done in English. Is the detection based on your IP?

That would be because there are enemy players around you. I’m assuming you mean the arena in Obsidian Sanctum. Try heading towards the entrance tunnel or anywhere else where no other players are near you.
As the title states, I’m looking for a mature, no-nonsense guild to join. I’m on Desolation and have been through quite a handful of guilds, though I’ve never stuck with one for long due to simply lacking the tolerance to stomach near constant immaturity within guild chat, which has been present 90% of the time.
I wouldn’t consider myself a sourpuss, I’m simply looking for like minded adults to enjoy the game with.
I’m an experienced player, though due to my recluse nature there is some group content that I am still not too familiar with (Some Fractals and Dungeons).
I mostly play on my warrior when it comes to PvE content, for PvP/WvW I use my necromancer.
Ideally I’d like to find a guild that engages in both PvE/WvW content.
