Imo they should just make it every 20% for the mega-laser event instead of 25. That would make it easier, also more rewards, which are already not enough considering how much time people spend in there and get nothing. Its currently a net loss if your dying alot and not even making it to 75% like most overflows.
Currently no real reason to fight him. Anet needs to up the rewards for failing and completing, or add loot to mobs back.
Same thing is happening to me. Glad im not the only one.
Just as ‘Those Who Remain’ said. Theres a multitude of activities you can partake in to get those materials. And at least one of them is fun for you. If you hate them all then i can see your point but i for one dont mind spending hours doing the bell choir trying to get a perfect score and on the side accumulate alot of materials.
I never played much of GW1 nor participated in any holiday events, but i can say that Anet is doing better holiday events then other games i have done holiday events in. (WoW and Maplestory)
My thief is built not to burst but to stealth, remove boons, and grant boons, as well as providing interrupts.
I can solo most ppl i have come across except for 1 specific trap hunter, as well as another specific mesmer.
The thing about hundred blades is that it needs to be used in tandom with a immobalize, stun, or a knockdown. If its not used with those skills or is used by itself it is easy to dodge as when the warrior tries to move the skill ends.
It doesnt need a nerf and isnt a problem in 5v5 maps. In 8v8 you have alot more casual players and its easier to get cought by hundred blades but that doesnt mean it needs a nerf.
As a rule i usually avoid largescale fights in PvP as you can get hit by a ton of things.
Just don’t push B to see the score while you’re dead and waiting to rez, you shouldn’t get stuck in map loading anymore.

I never press B ever during the match. I die, press the respawn button and i get the bug at random.
i had a similar issue cept i was the only person who couldnt see the thief. Once he stealthed he kept hitting me and never reappeared. Didnt reappear till after i rezed.
I tried to tell people this ages ago. Forget the whole esports thing and just enjoy the game.
Cant enjoy pvp when im losing because of a bug.
This thread isnt saying Anet shouldnt try to make GW2 Spvp an Esport. Its the fact that with this bug no one will do Esports or the monthly/yearly tournaments because when you get this bug your team has a high chance of losing. Unless your leading 400-100 or some ridiculous margin, your not going to win if the game is close.
Another thing that happened today was i got the bug b4 a match ended and my team won by the time i reloaded. And im pretty sure i lost all that glory i had earned during the match and didnt get the glory i should have got for winning.
I know that when you get the bug and come back in the match your score starts back at zero.
Because of that stupid load screen bug. I have lost 2 tournaments today because when i rez i get an infinite loading screen and have to restart my client. Ive lost over 5 tournaments this week because of that bug and im sick of losing because of it. Fix it pls.

I wish ppl would actually think b4 they post. There is no gear grind. There is a dungeon, that goes on forever. It gets harder and harder if you dont reset it. Eventually your going to hit a wall. To help you get over that wall a new set of gear thats higher than exotics was introduced.
All this, "I am casual, i dont have time to “grind” gear" You dont have to “grind” gear anymore than you are grinding dungeons for dungeon sets or grinding events for karma.
The beauty of this dungeon is that like all dungeons it can be done with any gear set. But heres what you guys are getting confused on. The dungeon gets harder so lets say after doing it 5 straight times your on ur 5th difficulty it becomes too hard, and you have to stop. All you have to do is just reset it back to difficulty 1 and keep going.
No one is making you grind gear. The new gear is for those who want to get further and further in the dungeon. Those who dont want to get further can play on the lower difficulty levels.
Again i wish ppl would think more and not just speculate and blow things out of proportion.
do your bank statements still say you have been charged for the purchase?
All i see is ppl saying you got confirmation that you bought the game. Well of course you did. Else how would you have an account. The point is that after your purchase you either canceled the transaction or someone canceled the transaction or the money never made it to the seller, meaning you lost no money.
If you truely got these messeges then go check your bank statements make sure those transactions happened and you didnt get refunded.
There was a player on MMO champ who tried to pull some BS where he asked Anet for a refund then tried to still play the game and claimed Anet took his account away from him.
This isnt that hard of a question. First ask your dad is the game still charged to his account. If it isnt then hes the reason you got banned. Check his account statements.
I have been leveling a new toon these past 2 weeks and i notice that most zones have too few players and anytime you run into a group of players its usually bots. Most group events cant be run because only 1 or 2 ppl show up. I do think that part of the overflow system should be used to fill up underpopulated maps. New players joining the game are not going to like how empty the zones feel.
