I dont know builds actually, i just played using a lot of precision for crits, and my weapons were sword + pistol.

I will look forward to all of this, thank you. Also i find that i need to practice more, i need to actually enter the game and play it until i manage to get the flow of the game. Which may take a little while, i dont know, all i know is that i’m thankful, i didnt even knew the community would be so helpful, and give a newbie such attention. Thank you

Hi guys, i’m playing this game since november, even though most ppl dont like it, i enjoyed pvp much more than pve, but i’m having problems in figuring out how to play pvp well, i’m dieing too much, and i cant seem to get any kills in the matches i play, i mostly end up something like 2/10 everytime.
I’m really looking for help, i want to understand the game, and to understand how mesmers should play pvp, what they do, and how to survive these battles.
Please share your experience… Thanks.

Just joking, in fact i’ll try to play more as a mesmer, i’ll try to find ppl that play mes (abbreviation?) and see if they can help me, i’m really interested in playing this game, i’ve loved it, dont even mind if theres no room now for large tournaments, if there are problems, every games has its problems, even those huge E-sports games actually.

I think i enjoyd more playing a mesmer, i like the idea of confusing your enemies, deceiving, etc… but i found that mesmers were like carries in this game, lol they deal so much dmg that they play that “deceiving” role by killing ppl faster than other classes, but still i enjoyed that concept, in fact i have 50% of pvp play time played as mesmer

And i dont play thief in pvp much, i just played it more, but i dont think thats the class for me you now?
I’m still trying things out, getting to know how every class work in pvp, and whats the most common builds, etc…
But i find guild wars 2 so complex, i’m not new to pvp games, but i played dota, and now lol so much, that i just can get the flow of the game you know? They are different games and the way they work its so different and i guess thats my problem

Hi, i bought this game in late november, and started going into pvp only now, and im having so much trouble in understanding how the pvp works in this game, i’m getting killed in half a sec, and i cant seem to find what do do about it, sometimes i get lucky and end up killing something but this is almost rare.
I want to know if there is some place where i can find information, guides, tutorship, because i need it, i’m loving the game, i’m loving pvp, but i cant get to understand the thing.
Please leave your tip, your advice, anything that could help me become a better player.

In my opinion, the casters of the invitational today did an amazing job, they kept up the pace, they may have missed some aspects of the strategy, and obviously missed some important commentary, but I’m not here to judge, spectator mode is hot out of the oven right now, so I guess there are plenty of room to improve.
I thought that it was much better than my expectations, they did an amazing job for a “first” time casting, on a game where the heat is on all over the map.

Do you guys think we should have an larger, better organized forum space for structured pvp?
After watching today’s MMORPG Guild Wars 2 NA Invitational, i thought spvp should need an entire new forum area, with sub areas such as troubleshooting, guides, commentaries, events, things like that.
Show off your thoughts about this guys ;)
