How do you know? GW1 is a different game.

It is the only thing that makes sense. You think they went through all the trouble of redecorating the world for a single month every time they have an event?

Besides that, GW1 had the annual dragon festival which was almost exactly like the current one. It had races, dragon ball, and other games with prizes that were only available during that time every year.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the OP was one of the tools who goes to sleep at an event location with his “1” key held down.

Welcome to guild wars, where stats are secondary to skins. The weapons you unlock through grinding dungeons only have stats to make people like you happy.

That isn’t how stuff like this works. You don’t punish death, you reward life. There needs to be significant rewards for experience accumulated without death.
