Well, I have tried to complete the event a few times now, and for doing so I have actually had death threats. Yes, between the says, whispers, and map chat, all the commanders are yelling to everyone my name and for them to report and spam me mail and whispers.
PS, if a GM would like to private message me, I have many screen shots of this.
Oh really, so you think that making a warrior waste a skill that goes in a 30 second cooldown while the thief rejoices on stealth while he is attacking you is not a bug?
You must be a thief that loves to exploit this kind of game play hahaha pathetic.
I had and have no intention of starting a flame war. You should really look at your skill sets and think about balance across a group and not just a solo class.
On the constructive side, have you ever though about using a stun, snare, daze where you last saw the thief? Have you tried using Endure Pain after using your shield? Even though you cannot see a stealthed player, you can still hit them and down them all the same.
As far as what the other guy said, any skill that activates due to a hit will fail on a block and not spawn at all, such as Throw Gunk.
PS, I play all 8 classes in the game. Just because one class beats you with a certain setup doesn’t mean they aren’t destroyed by a different setup or play style.
How would this be a cheat? Stealth has a limited duration and a cool-down before it can be used again, and it is only 1 skill that is changed by the stealth. This would be the same as saying the half second finish due to quickness is a cheat. It is a game mechanic that has been in since beta and is not game breaking by any means.
PS, if it was changed, many people would be upset with fractals as using stealth to not be swamped by mobs is a common practice such as during the dredge event.
This isn’t a bug, stealth breaks on time or the next hit, not attack. The real stealth bug is if the thief leaves Shadow Refuge right as it ends it will un-stealth everyone nearby.
