Okay so I know a lot of veteran players aren’t going to see this as an issue because i’m sure you guys have several thousand of these things just sitting there laying around but as a new player someone who recently started getting into gw2 and is now working on their ascended gear for raids I can tell you that there is something wrong here.
Empyreal fragments when compared to bloodstone dust and Dragonite ore is way to hard to obtain.
1. The removal of chests from guild missions
You used to get a decent chunk of these from guild missions because of the chests but now this is not the case because you guys removed them
2. Bandit Chests
I was farming them from bandit chests but last night i’ve started to notice that i’m not getting nearly as many as before and i’ve been getting a really horrible dragonite streak from 12 + chests in a row… it’s frustrating
The only item I need to finish my ascended gear are the vision crystals and the only item I need to make the vision crystals are empyreal stars… but I can’t seem to get them because you guys barely gave us a way to farm these as easily as bloodstone and dragonite.
My suggestion?
Maybe add them to the chests in the HoT maps. The ones that need crowbars, Chak Acid, Exalted keys, machetes.
These would be a perfect remedy for this problem add empyreal to the drop table of these (maybe not noxious pods because of crystalline ore) and it’d make things MUCH more tolerable for new players to play catch up with finishing their ascended gear.
Please let me know what you guys think or if anyone has any suggestions? Maybe Anet can take a look at this and help us out by adding them to the HoT map chests.
If they block the spell that blocks turns into a copy of that spell essentially letting them cast it twice
That’s all it really does outside of spawning a phantasm the other spell dazes when it passes through you
Thank you for the fast responses after taking what you guys have said into consideration im thinking about trying sword focus and sword shield? Right now ive been using greatsword and sword sword to level but i liked using staff when with friends although its damage was really bad for solo leveling I’m just trying to figure out whats fun while at the same time being useful
Hi i recently started leveling a mesmer and i just wanna ask a few things maybe someone can help
Is staff support mesmer viable in dungeons and fractals or is it more for pvp? I love playing support characters in pve but ive heard mixed things about gw2 dungeons being like zerker or gtfo essentially and it makes me nervous
Also hows chronomancer? Will it do well as support? Which main hand is good with shield
