Same issues, EU. To make matters worse, I rebooted my router just in case, so that gave me a new IP address, and when I click the link on the email to verify the log in attempt I keep getting “An Error has Occurred”. kitten you Anet.
While we’re aware of a handful of missing VO files, you shouldn’t be having widespread issues like this.
Well be that as it may BobbyStein, it is now happening in every story line cutscene for me and the wife too. It began happening after the last patch, simple as that.
This seems to have been broken by the last patch, prior to that I never had an issue with it at all. Lets hope Anet intend to fix it in the next patch, although I wouldn’t hold your breath on that.
This badly needs to be fixed asap. Fex I lost a full set of lvl 50 trinkets intended for my wife this way. There is no way that the name of a mail recipient should be changed by the game once you have chosen it. Goodness knows how many mails go astray each day, but it must be thousands. Really not good enough, please fix.

There is no way the mail system should select someone close by as a recipient, it even changes the name sometimes. Very poor mechanic on Anets part. I would imagine that thousands of misdirected mails go out each day because of this system, and you can bet only a small percentage are returned. I know my jewellry wasn’t.
Same for me too now, I tried to get in my story instance with my wife, she got in, I was stuck loading, then got booted with a network error. Now when I try to get back in game I get that same error code 42:0:9001:3927. That is obviously bullkitten as my wife is still in game from the same IP address on the same router as me. What is going on here?
Have to agree this is an Ambient Occlusion issue. It only happened for me when I installed the 306.02 drivers (which ironically supposedly now support ambient occlusion in GW2), and disappeared when I reinstalled the previous beta driver, 304.79. Get a grip nvidia.
