Same endless crashing after the patch , tried to run the -repair option to the launcher, stalls for a while and then shows up the login screen, after I tried to log in with any character it shows loading screen and then crashes.
(had to remove some of the report content due to size)

Game Crashing after 12/16/2012 Update

I was playing the game yesterday and after I received the message of a new build being applied, I proceeded to log out of the game and wait for it to do so, after I was logged out my client started to download updated files and when it finished updating them, I proceeded to login again, only to find out my game was in a constant loop of crashing, after I submitted several reports and got frustrated that my game was ruined, I proceeded to do some research and how to’s in order to fix my game, none of the options supplied by the web helped at all, so I took the problem and started to do the following:

Here we go, to start from the beginning on this issue, I want to point out a few things about the game and the file repair system.

1.- The file repair system it does not specify which file within the DAT file is damaged,

2.- Once you run the game with the “-repair” option included on the game launch, starts file verification and you can only see the countdown on the amount of files it is verifying, after it is completed, it does not show you or tell you in any way what was wrong with your game client.

3.- Since the reply to my requests and the online forums also, did not supplied any help at all at my issues, I was frustrated and upset about how this game got corrupted, when it was working properly since I installed it, the only thing that could possibly have gone bad was the patch that happened yesterday afternoon, after that my problems started to happen.

4.- since I did not had any reply to my issues, I was forced to look for other options on how to fix my game problem, so what I did was the following:

A.- since I had a back up of the game cache of my installation, but without the latest updates, I copied out the updated DAT file to a separate folder, just as a caution to save it just in case. And proceeded to replace the updated DAT file with the OLD one, after I did this, I ran the game and the client started to update files on the game, after the download completed, I tried to run the game again only to find out that the same thing happened again and my game crashed after the login part and selecting my character to play and hitting the PLAY button, the game sent me back to desktop with the send report menu.(within the send report menu, you can see what is supposed to be wrong on your game client and what files are damaged or missing or corrupted. this is pointless and useless to us since we cannot delete or replace manually any of them, I know is a security form to protect the game from coders, I UNDERSTAND THIS!!! but I am not going to RE-DOWNLOAD the whole game client for 1 or 2 files damaged.)

B.-So after the previous try, I had to look for something else that was making my game crash, so I went back and replaced the new updated game DAT file with my supposed to be corrupt one and ran the -repair option included, after the process was complete I ran the game again and the same issue happened again.

C.- On my last attempt after I was looking up for some other files of the game, I stumbled upon a folder on My Documents Folder which contained a list of corrupted DAT files with a couple of text files in there as a LOG in it, when the process of verification was running I could see the time and date stamp on the text files which was according to my time of performing the repair session, I let the verification process complete and proceeded to look into the log files and read what was doing in them, again the information was listing the same as the send report menu, and did not helped at all. At the end of this I closed everything and proceeded to DELETE the whole amount of files in this folder including an empty Music Folder in it, I ran the game again with the -repair option and after that the game was fixed.
if this procedure is correct, I suggest to look into my reports that I submitted and try to link where is the problem at and prevent this from happening again with the client.
