This is a beautiful looping track that plays at Rata Sum (and possibly other locations). I tried YouTubing this but I couldn’t find the piece anywhere, so I recorded it myself and put it on YouTube with hopes that one of y’all might know the name of this track.

I’ve suddenly started getting randomly high pings too, as well as a dramatically increased load time. Where it used to take a couple of seconds to load into an unpopulated map like Snowden Drifts, now it takes like half a minute. Anet pls respond

My newsfeed just loaded! Hooray! I don’t know why but everything is fine and dandy now =D

iam having the same problem for the last half hour myself including no news feed . are you able to log into the game ? are you getting any error codes ??? hope they get our problem fixed soon .

So you know the newsfeed that loads when you login to the GW2 client? Mine is not loading.

I thought it was just taking longer than usual to load (since I did change my ISP recently), but I left my computer on and client open last night to install the HoT patch and upon checking my client this morning, the newsfeed still has not loaded.

I’ve included a picture for reference.

Yes but for those of us who have already completed everything, sometimes on more than one toon, it becomes a hassle )=

I don’t think it’s just me that gets really frustrated when we log on a toon after a couple weeks and see that where we had 100% world completion, we now have 97% or 98%…and we spend the next hour trying to find those newly added vistas/POI’s/whatever.

I think it’d be really nice if to those who have already gotten 100% of an area to get an alert in whatever form (for e.×. an in-game mail notice) notifying us of a new area feature. To those who just do completion for the sake of new skins I’m sure this doesn’t bother them very much, but there are those of us who will pull out our hair if we don’t see 100% completion (=

Wow…this game has a really interesting role-play community haha, never before have I seen such hardcore role-playing xD

So I’ve been seeing a lot of player characters that are casually standing together typing what seems like role-play dialogue in all-chat (/say). Furthermore, sometimes they walk around together in tandem or threes, all the while speaking role-play dialogue, almost like NPC characters.

When I say “role-play-like dialogue,” I mean they are often one or two sentences that have to do with current events in the game (such as the Human-Charr Conflict), and the dialogue is always completely free of spelling/grammatical issues and seems to be quite professional—as if taken from a script.

What is this? Is this a /roleplay function I don’t know about or something? Or am I just hallucinating? o-o

Hey so I’ve been using custom music for a while now, but I decided to go back to the original game score. However, after deleting all the playlists in the My Documents/Guild Wars 2/Music folder, the original game music doesn’t seem to play anymore. Any fixes?

Both Darkhaven and SoS servers are full; my friends are on there and I can’t create character because servers always full. Is server status based on the number of people connected to the server, or number of characters created on that server? And are world transfers still free?
