but i have guild wars & gw2 accounts linked together no problem, says i can access HoM, but i never receive the portal stone to do so. Is there something i needed to do in GW?

Got a reply late last night, waiting on resolution after I sent the information requested.
He sold all my items, materials etc. So this way I lost about 15-20g and 160hours. And now waiting some info about rollback.
is it possible to get a roll back? if so that would help so much i need gold cant even repair !!

at this point they do not have a roll back system or restoration in play. From what i read they are working on it.

i believe its called, cutting corners and blaming their customers for not having different emails for everything you do. I do agree we should take steps on securing our private information, but its always nice to know the company that you payed for a service has your back.

Just so you know, they cannot restore anything at the moment. They fail of having any restoration or rollback system active at the moment.

huh as of yet i don’t even know the extent of what damage the hacker might of done to my husbands account. I am confused to see him online but no actual character is currently online.

im in the same boat, my husband account got compromised and he doesn’t have an account anymore. i’ve asked with no actual answer from Anet themselves. but you can still send a ticket with your girlfriend’s father email. its what i did..im grinding my teeth waiting to see if they’ll even respond to the ticket.

the same here! also my husband’s account and I see “him” online playing, it’s frustrating!
having no in-game support to really makes this sad. Can’t go reporting and ask the GM’s to maybe suspend the account till its restored to its true owner. T_T
I agree Ruggy, my husband also has gotten hacked. The hacker is online right now..just playing away, like nothing is wrong. its very aggravating, insulting and demoralizing to want to even continue playing even if everything gets recovered.
If yes, this is realy shame on the security level here, my PC is safe and clean, I never had any problem with those kind of things.
Even though your computer is squeaky clean it doesn’t matter ’cause apparently these magical Chinese hackers have a gigantic list of email/password from other sites, games,forums, and then they go through that list and see if any emails/passwords match.

I’v been waiting since the 5th Sep. and problem still not resolved after they cancelled my account after a billing error.
if its a billing error you might be able to call. to know whats going on!

Posting on behalf of my fiancee because she can’t get in to reply to this. Her account was hacked a couple of days ago and the hacker changed her account email address so now she can’t do anything with the game. She has two tickets created for it -

I know there’s a lot of people with this same issue, do we’re being patient, but we would really appreciate the time and help because I feel bad playing when she can’t!

Got an email saying, Someone -hopefully you!- has requested to change the email address associated with your Guild Wars account.
Now his email is no longer an existing account, should he re-create his account or wait it out?

I was hacked earlier today, it is now 19:42 (Romania Timezone) and the last time i had previously logged in was at around 6:00 in the morning. When I logged in after I woke up, I found all my High End crafting materials sold on the Trading Post. They were worth at around 3-4 gold. All i found on the Trading Post was 1.2 gold so i must assume that the rest was mailed to some other account and the gold I found were some items that sold after they had done that. I changed my email and password as soon as I found out i was hacked and I am hoping that maybe my character can get rolled back to what I had this morning? I would greatly appreciate some help on this issue.
sorry to say, but they do not have a roll back or restoration system in the game right now.
I’m trying to get an answer, i haven’t got any luck as of yet. but my husband’s account got compromised a few days back, his email got change.
My question is, should he remake his account? or wait it out till support replies with something?

I will continue to bump this until someone does something to help. Tired of waiting, and tired of ArenaNet getting off without offering some sort of help or explanation.

This is ridiculous, if you did hire more staff, this would have been resolved by now. Get your act together. There’s obviously a problem on your side, stop blaming your customers for your lack of security. I have never seen such horrible tech support for a game. I had better service from Free to play games. where are your in-game support, GM or other.
If you admit to your mistakes, and apologize..maybe..just maybe you won’t loose your player base. Just saying! Show us your worth akitten to even bother with the game that clearly botter/hacker/scammer ridden. big STAY AWAY sign, this game isn’t worth the stress. People are waiting in line over a week now..that is unacceptable of a waiting time, for anyone. You should compensate them all.

its a sad sad day, when there is no authorization to change your own email. i don’t care to hear, make sure your computer is malware, keylogger free. Don’t use the same password BS i keep reading. No offense but our computers are clean we have sooo many post it on our walls for how many passwords we have. so that isn’t the issue here. i think someone spilled some info out and let some hackers see the list of users. so to speak.

i know the feeling, my original GW is no longer existant
and now my hubbies account got hack a few hours back, and we have no response
from any kind of support besides the BE PATIENT bs. There’s patient and there’s doing nothing and let the customer squirm around wondering what to do to get a definite answer on whats gonna be done with the situation.
Personally the path that Arena net is taking seems to be going downhill ..not gonna be surprise if the player based dwindle downs.
i miss RIFT T_T, i might go back to playing vindictus till i can afford to play rift again. where i know support is actually alive.
