My fps has been low since one of the October patches., corrected itself a patch later, and then went back to the kittenter the patch after. By kittenty fps I mean less than 30 FPS, practically everywhere with a few exceptions. Changing settings does nothing. Deleting the local dat does nothing.

Tested in Caudecous Manor-> Courtyard drops down to 12-17 FPS. In the underground tunnel it can shoot to 60-120. When entering the dungeon and turned around to face the portal, shoots up to around 60+. Average FPS in most areas is 20-30.

Graphic settings->
Anti-aliasing is not on. Reflections is on terrain and sky. Everything else is medium or high. High-res character and best texture filtering are checked. Frame limiter is on unlimited. Render sampling on native.

Low settings do practically nothing except for make my game look like kitten and increase by 3-5 fps.

System specs->
Windows 7 64 bit
Resolution: 1280 × 1024
Intel® Core™ i7 CPU K 875 @ 2.93GHz (8 CPUs), Overclocked to 3.7 GHz.
16 GB DDR3 RAM. 1600 Mhz
AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series. 6870. Have it on overdrive at 900 Mhz GPu clock speed. Drivers fully updated. Even have the updated beta drivers. Tried rolling updates back as well, that did nothing.
Video card is also in the correct PCI slot.

Have tried practically every fix found on the forums. Reinstalling the game does nothing.

Nothing is overheating. Have a coolmaster for my CPU and GPU hits about 60 degrees celcius tops with my CPU at 36 celcius.

Welcome to my world. My fps has been low since one of the October patches., corrected itself a patch later, and then went back to the kittenter the patch after. By kittenty fps I mean less than 30 FPS, everywhere with a few exceptions. Even occurs on low settings.

System specs→
Windows 7 64 bit
Intel® Core™ i7 CPU K 875 @ 2.93GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.9GHz
16 GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series. Believe it’s a 6870. Drivers fully updated.
Have already tried wiping the video card drivers and re-installing them. Didn’t do anything. Have tried practically every fix found on the forums.
Nothing is overheating. Have a coolmaster for my CPU and GPU hits about 60 degrees celcius tops.

Testing it mostly in CM story since before said October patch I had a steady 50+ there. Next morning I ran it, was less than 15.

For settings:
Resolution: 1280 × 1024
Even on incredibly low settings FPS does not increase.

Tarnished Coast -PvX, RP Friendly- [Obsidian]

in Guilds

~Obsidian~ is a Guild Wars 2 guild based off of the Tarnished Coast server. Our main goal as a guild is to promote a strong, respectable guild community within our server for the sake of keeping our server pleasant and homelike. With that in mind Obsidian features a little something for everybody.

Content wise we strike a balance between PvE and PvP. Organized WvWvW can be expected as well as premade tournament groups in sPvP. A good amount of PvP is to be expected. PvE wise we are pretty much hitting everything, dynamic events, renowned hearts, dungeons, puzzles, and exploration.

While we’re not RP-focused we are rather RP friendly with a few of our members partaking in RP events and random world RP. Despite not having a back story of our own or hosting events as of this moment, the option to RP with some of our member is open.

Server: Tarnished Coast (US – [Unofficial RP Server])

Guild Type: We’re an RP-friendly guild that focuses mainly on PvP (both WvWvW and sPvP) as well as PvE-related content.

Our Goals: Have fun while accomplishing all Guild Wars 2 has to offer. Be a force to be reckoned with in WvWvW and sPvP as well as in dungeons while still having fun. Clearing out content and being a strong presence on our home server.

What We Offer: Most of us are semi-hardcore to hardcore in skillset but we’re casual in terms of no string attached commitments for the sake of having fun. We’re not psycho in requirements to the point where the game becomes a job.

Currently in the Works: Optional RP section equipped with backstory, in-game guild upgrades, and drunken vent karaoke.

What We Require: Balls of steel.

If any of that sounds like it suits you, feel free to join us in our adventures!
Majority of our guild’s leadership has been together for close to 5 years, throughout multiple games, including World of Warcraft, Rift, Star Wars the Old Republic, and more recently Tera. We also have experience in older Mmo’s such as Dark Age of Camelot, Asheron’s Call 2, Final Fantasy XI, Guild Wars, City of Heroes/Villains, and Dungeons and Dragon’s Online.

My FPS issues are on and off apparently. I was having FPS issues (dropping to 7-15 in certain areas of dungeons/high traffic areas, and 20 everywhere else) about three days ago, next few days it worked perfectly with my minimum being around 35 in WvWvW, Lions Arch, and pretty much being over 60 everywhere else. After last nights build I’m back to having the same FPS issues I had a few days ago.

Specs- i7 k875 @ 2.93 GHZ
Radeon HD 6870 overclocked to 930 mhz
16 GB DDR3 Ram
Win 64 bit
Got the latest drivers for my card.
