Guild Wars 2

First let me say, I posted this on the Guild Wars 2 Subreddit a couple days ago, and it was pretty well received so I think it would be good for it to be seen here.

Why can’t we see our own titles or see the star for 100% World Completion? I worked hard to get some of the titles I have, and even harder to get my star. But I don’t get to enjoy my star or my titles. I often forget I even have 100% world completion until I actually think about it or open my map.

Back when I played GW1, if you hit “F” it would select yourself and you could see your name, your guild tag, and whatever title you were wearing. I loved this, but for some reason I don’t get the ability to enjoy my accomplishments in this game. Does anyone else wish you could see your titles and world completion star?

Note: I know you can view your titles under “H”-> Achievements. I also know that if you’re in a party if you get targeted you can see your star. This in not practical enough.

Yeah, I’ve spent 30g+ on pToT/ToT Bags. I have no Endless Halloween Tonic. What I do have, is 500 of each of the four other tonics you get. (Halloween, Concentrating, Spider, and Candy Corn).

In another thread, somebody who has been just as unlucky as I am suggested that there be a mystic forge recipe that puts a stack of each of those four tonics in and you get the Endless Halloween Tonic out. That would be totally awesome. You need to open like 10k bags to get a stack of each anyway.

However, we all know ANet won’t implement this totally fair thing into the game for people like me getting screwed by the RNG.

Man, I know exactly how you feel. I’ve spent over 30 gold on the kitten pToT/ToT Bags and I have yet to get a Endless Halloween Tonic. I have over 500 of each of the four regular tonics it drops, so if they do ever implement that Mystic Forge recipe, I’ll have two Endless Tonics Although, we both know that will NEVER happen. Best of luck man.

I have opened at least 15,000 Regular ToT Bags. In addition to that, I’ve opened at least 5,000 pToT Bags. I haven’t got a single Endless Tonic. That was the whole reason I was dumping money into to Bags and Candy Corn in the first place! But after spending 20+ gold, I believe that the bags don’t even contain the Endless Halloween Tonic anymore.

If I knew it would cost me more than 20gold to get nothing, or even to get the tonic. I never would have done it. However, I’ve seen all of these posts about people who opened like 50, or 300 bags and got the Tonic, and I just think; what the hell? Random number games suck.

TL;DR: I spent 20+ gold on 15k ToT bags and 5k pToT bags and didn’t get a single Endless Tonic.
