I didn’t play GW1 at all save a small stretch during beta. What I don’t undertand is, aside from pretending in my mind that I am a bad guy, is there something in the lore that forces everyone to be good? I dislike being forced into one main over arching faction. I picked ferocious, but that just meant i was a jerk.

well flame and frost comes out in 5 days, maybe then?

im only 31 but here is my thief.

its a balance thing I havent pvp’d at all but i can say i have a lower level guardian that can go toe to toe with mobs 5 levels higher than he, if i where to do that with my thief i would get smushed. Colin in a live video on mmorpg the other day said they are rolling out a temp fix for culling, then they are going to put in a perm fix.

9/10 its simple and your suffix title goes well with it.
I have a 32 thief and I named him Noxium Darkglade.
I have tried the other races and I just cant get into the stories, so i will be making more Sylvari, I like the premise of the race, its original.

my suggestions, dont balance a class solely based on cry babies in pvp. Also I would like to see a second stealth where its toggled, for scouting purposes and you can not attack from this particular version of stealth. Considering thats the point of a thief/ rogue/ assassin based class, or profession as they are called here.

I would like more of a choice in the game, I feel like i m forced to be good and I am a thief, one reason I went with the order of whispers in my story line. they are more grey.

If you’re rocking up in full zerker gear and with no Vit/Tough then it’s going to be challenging.

I have no issues with my thief as long as i stay mobile.

I am not running any sort of dungeon yet, I am level 30 and I have to agree my first 10 levels was easy, Then I started dying a lot, and almost got really mad and started yelling… then at about 20 I bought some better gear, I had level 5 boots at 21, and no upgraded gems in slots, so I spent about 3 silver, got better gear and started moving and running around more, switched to ranged on harder solo fights and consolidated my traits, I had them spread to thin, since then I rock it as long as I stay aware and mobile. People I think try to play the classes here like in other mmos that shall remain unnamed.

ya it happens to me too, I just do a stealth and it fixes it. I just figure anet will get around to it. All mmo’s have bugs kKagari, there are bugs in WoW they still havent fixed them years later.

Evening! I am new, still downloading I am looking at either making Thief or Necro as my main profession, I am just looking for some insight into the class from folks who have been playing. I have read that Necro damage is not on par with a lot of other classes and they are very squishy. Thanks in advance for any information =)

what is culling? I couldn’t post on the threads but i could read them here, I saw that mentioned a lot.

Evening guys, I am so new in fact I am still downloading. I have been doing a heap of research on the game and the professions and I am leaning toward Thief as my primary profession, I was just wondering about some pros and cons. I have read in forums out side of the game that theifs are suffering and a lot of people who typically play rogue types dislike the fact that the stealth is not toggled. Thanks in advance for any insight offered. =)
