Yeah its pretty useless the way it wors now. I wonder why daredevil can have blast finishers on dodge (while having 3 endurence bars) and we have to have a cooldown on it.

Hello,
I must say I personly like a lot changes you proposed (I`m mainly interested in engineer and mesmer).

But I have a suggestion about mesmer focus skill – Temporal Curtain and trait dedicated to it.

It`s one of my favourite skills and it gives huge amount of utility to this profesion, the problem is that when u get trait Warden’s Feedback, it gives even more utility to it since it now can reflect projectiles, but teamattes can`t possibly tell if it`s something u can hide behind (like in case of wall of reflection, which just looks like a wall of light – hiding behind it is obvious reaction) or just regural, loved by everyone team speed boost. One can easly tell where ends and begins Illusionary`s Warden barrier and therefore take advantage of it, but projetiles bounced of TC are bounced by empty air over it.

I propose to make Warden’s Feedback trait change also appearance of Temporal Curtain, to promote, mesmer’s teammates using it as a barrier (similary to how Masterful Reflection changes appearance of Distoriton shatter, to inform opponent players in pvp that it refect projectiles).

Keep up the good job Arena Net, and please consider my proposition.

Give the Engineer Access to Maces/Hammers

Now I mained Engineer all the way to 80. I love the Engineer.
One thing really bothers me though; I have no true ability to be engaged in melee combat. I refuse to count the Wrench, because that kit is so jumbled, you don’t really feel like you’re using the Wrench, you feel like you’re throwing random junk at the enemy, with interludes of Wrench-thwacking, that doesn’t even do much because the Wrench has no stats of it’s own, which makes it a pretty terrible DPS option in PVE.

Lorewise, my suggestion makes sense. Engineers clearly have to build things, things that probably involve some sort of hammer or similar tool to create. And it would be cool to put a Engineer/Gadget twist to the mace main hand, or two handed hammer. Make the Hammer Rocket-Powered or something, smashing someone with it causes burning, or perhaps you can use it to jettison towards your enemy at high speeds. As for the mace, perhaps it could be an electrically charged tool-hammer, adept at stunning or blinding enemies, which along with the already existing shield, would turn the Engineer into a front-line CC machine.

Tell me what you think everyone, I know I’m not the only one that wants more “real” weapons for the Engineer!

Dude, u read my mind I logged on this forum today to write exactly the same. I`ll just add that only two proffesion have acces to hammer and mace which makes those weapons pretty neglected.
