Exactly the same problem. Opened a support ticket but I guess it’s a general issue, not just mine.
I have the same packet-loss problem even before the patch, followed all the steps that ncsoft support asked me to, the conclusion was that it’s my ISP’s fault.
Then I did contact my ISP with every detail, log and test. Tracert showed that packets were going from Greece where I live) to Sofia, BG, then Frankfurt,DE and then ncsoft servers. The packet loss is between BG and DE, so, guess what? Neither my ISP is able to do anything…
And guess what else? I signed a 1-year contract with this ISP recently…
My conclusion is that each case is different, not all of us are having the same problem.
IMO these changes to Penitent / Shelters are not bad, agreed with most of the ppl here that gameplay has been improved, loot has been decreased though. I was farming these 2 events for a pretty long time, it was profitable. Not anymore, I just play a couple of times before I give up because of the bad loot.
The solution, apart from fixing the champion’s loot table, would be to increase these event’s duration by 2 minutes at least, that would substitute the time “wasted” to kill champs.
Sounds very cool as a scenario to me. But I’m affraid no server will be able to handle this traffic with mass amounts of players and NPC’s. Take as example what happens in Jormag nowadays, players are moved in overflow because server cannot support that much players.
It seems to be ok to do now, I transmutated my Kudzu and it comes up purple on character and linked. It didnt changed to Kudzu of whatever and kept the name just Kudzu.
Still, there has been no official response.
Did Kudzu also keep the “legendary” visual effects?
When an event takes place (world bosses for example) and you ‘re in overflow, you just can’t take part in this event (that usually leasts for a couple of minutes).
Thank you very much for this amazing and useful tool!
Would be nice if you could add the waypoint or area name of each event since there are many players that doesn’t know where each event takes place.
Thanks again for this tool!
