Guild Wars 2

When leveling my Ranger in the open world PVE, I kinda made fun of it, saying all it was, was pressing 1 (was using all beastmaster traits and skills).
Now at 80, doing dungeons etc. its alot more involved, and I feel its actually more tricky than other classes I’ve leveled and played. (trying glass cannon atm) I did take my comment back, its alot more than pressing 1.

I love my Ranger, wouldnt have leveled him to 80 in just 75 hours of gametime (/age) otherwise.

So for a new player, yes its a fun and easy class to level and simply explore the world on your own. Not so much maybe if you like to do dungeons on the same “autopilot”.

Been a PK member since January 2013. Joined through “The Secret World” MMO during a break from GW2. Since there was a presence in this game aswell I decided to give it a try again.
Its been ALOT of fun since and would never have seen what this game had to offer if not for them… or us now. I have no intention of ever leaving this madhouse thats called Pandion Knights
My main is Leetle (The Great), personally I like long walks on the beach and… oh wait, I mean I love dungeoncrawling, so you can find me doing that alot! Hope to see you there.

thanks! and absolutely.
the skins are from the “Rascal’s” set with the starter monocle in place of that set’s mask. the dyes are simply Ebony, Matte for the silver parts of the monocle and bandana on the coat, and another starter dye for the monocle strap. i forget exactly which.

(i have looked at other dye, i must have gotten over 100 of them getting to level 80, but no other looked better in my eyes.)

rifle skins that match the engineer and their skills are the worst to find, imo.
i always keep my eyes open for new rifle skins.

I have the same problem with dyes on my Guardian, found plenty of colours, but I almost always go back to the starter dyes. Some of the high contrast dyes are the exceptions.

As for rifle skin, my Engineer is still using that starter “blunderbus” look until I find something better. I may look into a Spectral Wave Modulator when I get the time.

Read up on Guardians if you wish.
Heavy Armor and even with the low Base HP they have alot of survivabilty.
Single target and AE style weapons.
Mostly melee, but staff and scepter are ranged options.
Very decent DPS. (much faster kills than my Engineer)
Lots of options to buff and heal players near you.
With the walls and bubbles you can control your mobs movement somewhat.

Yes your name is immediately available for you to use. Only you though. There is a wait time before that name will become available to the general public. The exact time on this is unknown to me, but it is at least 24 hours or more. So in summation, delete your character safely, your name is ready to re-use instantly.

You’re not gonna carry a desktop tower from hotelroom to hotelroom. Even if gaming laptops are heavy, its still better than a tower+screen+keyboard+whatever. And NOT gaming is not really an option
I would personally not buy a gaming laptop, but would go for a high-end “regular” laptop. It will also run the game very decently. (even my 4 year old laptop runs GW2)

But anyway, to chip in. 7 friends (yes I counted) all have had Alienware laptops. Not a single one was pleased with it! every single one had multiple issues, returns and eventually refunds.

One unhappy customer, just bad luck, Two unhappy customers, who knows how they treat their laptop, but all 7?? Your mileage may vary o/c.

I’m wondering,
If I delete my character, to remake it right after, does the name become available again right away? So that when I remake the new toon, chances are high that I can use the same name for him/her?
I’ve played MMO’s that let me do that, but also major MMO’s where names would be unavailable for months/forever.

I would test it out myself but I won’t be able to for a week or so, and I’m just too curious to wait

“looking good” really comes down to personal taste ofcourse.
that being said i really love my outlaw/bunny/engineer.
no other heavy or light armor would be able to pull off the Doc Brown look.
