Not sure if i’m supposed to post this on the armor or texture thread as this is a weird dye bug, but whenever i dye certain parts of this asura cultural armor with the color Pottery, and accept the change, it stays that color but it becomes midnight purple when i enter a new area.
Since the sept buff, i want to know whats the current best build for flamethrower. Ive read HGH with rabids gear, HGH with berserker and strength runes, and more. My current set up is HGH ft with rampager gear with runes of the flame legion with smoldering and fire sigil. Basicly 2 second burns for a total of 1.2k damage and 1.2k burn dmg per jet.
The guys who checked my cpu ran a memtest and nothing showed up before they installed the new motherboard thinking that was the problem. So I’ll try the antivirus test first. Does that include my windows firewall? And if i do and this works, do i have to keep it off every time i play gw2 now?
Alright, it’s been about a month with crash issues on gw2. Freezing, blue screens, crashes, you name it. I’ve taken my computer 3 times for a check up with no results. Switched graphics cards, clean graphics driver installation (after doing so, one time gw2 caused my cpu to blue screen and when it restarted, the monitor wouldnt stop flashing on and off like a broken light bulb), and even bought a new motherboard. The last 3 crash logs showed the same error: exception c0000005. How the flip am i supposed to fix this after all i’ve done? These crashes occur very often with the longest ive gone without crashing for about 2 hours. Sometimes it happens after 30 minutes, 10, etc. I know there’s a post with the same error but mine happens during gameplay. Now, I’ve been playing this game for over a year now without any issues and it’s my favorite game and i’ve been playing the guild wars franchise for about 8 years. Seriously. Please Help Me.

I’m not sure if its because of the sept patch but gw2 just crashes or blue screens on me very often. ive read that gw2 can not cause blue screens and its most likely a hardware issue. this is the most recent error log.
I forgot to add that I’ve taken my cpu for a check-up twice and nothing resulted which leads me to believe that its just gw2. I just got a new whoopin NVidia gtx 980 today and its still crashing

So today was the first time i was in a successful Marionette event, all chains cut, etc etc. I was there the whole event participating. I went through the gate since everyone was doing it. Guessed there was a chest there. No chest. I asked ppl and they indeed say a chest spawns there. It was completely invisible to me and i did not get any reward. Really ticked off. All i got was the event completion reward.
Ah. Thank you very much Woljnir. I did not know about the npc being able to do that. And thanks for the advice on what i should do with the other tools. I’ll get to work on that.
I would like for them to make the molten pickaxe, consortium scythe, and chop-it-all axe account bound. At least rerelease them for 1000 gems each like they did for the second edition tools. Reason why i bring this up is because i felt betrayed that when i bought the Bone Pickaxe and Jack-in-the-box , that were soulbound at first,i expected a soulbound similarly themed logging axe next. But instead they release the Dream Logging Axe as account bound, and rerelease the bone pickaxe and jack in the box for 1000gems (800 originally) but account bound. So i just wasted 1600 gems for soulbound tools, where i couldve gotten account bound ones for just 400 more. And ofcourse you had to get 2 axes, 1 to fill the space for the one that had the soulbound tools, and a full account bound set. So i felt ripped off. Or make the the soulbound tools account bound to be fair. TBH i just want to give the 1st edition “Techie” tools to my engineer character,lol. Seems fair since u can give the second edition ones to any character any time you please.
When it comes to character creation in games, i’m heavily ocd about everything. I must make them perfect. And now that guild wars included having ur personal story, it makes it even harder for me. If i want a character to have a personality like Countess Anise for example, what will that categorize in? Charm or dignity? Charm in the description for character creation says that “Nobody can resist me when i’m at my best.I know what to say to lighten the mood or bolster courage.” and for Dignity it describes it as being “Dignified when my ears are in mud. A serious and thoughtful demeanor is the route to success.” So when i think of charm, i see like a sorta girly, cheerleader character, not really seductive im assuming. And i see dignity as a serious, always straight faced character. What u guys think?
