Have to agree having one off events always at the same time is a pretty bad idea and not particularly fair on players in certain regions. Either run them several times in a day or run them at a variety of different times to give everyone a chance to get to some of the events.
And no, I’m not sulking that I miss out, 12pm PST Sunday is a perfect time for me, I just don’t believe the world revolves around me and think that other players should have a chance at having their share of the events.
First thing is to make sure you keep your gear up to a reasonable level, running around at level 20 in level 5 gear will make you very weak.
Ranger is a good option for ranged as you can use a pet to take most of the damage for you (bears are the way to go for that). Using a rifle as a warrior is another good option.
I play on Tarnish Coast from the UK without any issues.
Just a note for Guzzi, I’m a Brit playing on the Tarnished Coast server and have no latency issues.
Not at present, but from what the devs have said it will be brought in (probably as a gem store purchase).
No, absolutely not.
Even minor quality of life add ons should remain banned, as if they’re tolerated people will push for other add ons to be accepted and then we’ll end up in a position where if you’re not using a dozen different add ons you’re at a massive disadvantage. And that, to me, is just plain cheating.
With all due respect Krosslite, your advice wasn’t particularly good and by your own admission you’re not speaking from experience at the higher level that the OP was asking about. So there’s no point being offended that they thanked someone who gave better advice.
Personally, I use fine salvage kits for whites, blues and greens and Black Lion for exotics, they give the best chance of getting ecto (which is needed for a lot of high level crafting). I don’t salvage yellows, I stick those in the Mystic Forge in the hope of getting exotics. If I did I’d probably use master or mystic salvage kits on them.
Level 25 crafted heavy armour is scale armour, which numerous cultures have used throughout history.
The really low level crafted (if coloured right) looks like mail over leather, again used by numerous cultures.
I find the best way to achieve something approaching a realistic look is to hide your shoulder armour, as they’re usually the worst offenders for looking idiotic.
Also, for weapons, I find the basic sword and greatsword (the white ones) are the most realistic looking skins as they’re not too enormous.
1: No, being able to sit in a safe place and solo champions through auto-attaching while going AFK to eat lunch shouldn’t be possible.
2: At 80 it costs a few silver to instantly transport across the world, that’s nothing.
3: No, horrible idea. That would ruin low level areas for people of the appropriate level.
4: Agree with this, they need fixing.
5: Some way of making events more challenging would be great. But that doesn’t really fit in with your idea in number 3, supporting making high level events more difficult while allowing higher level people to make events in levelling zones utterly trivial.
6: It’s a few silver to port to a trainer, reset and port to the location of your choice. Hardly a big deal.
7: A world of yes!
8: I kind of agree with this. People claiming it’s an intended feature have something of a point, but that doesn’t seem right given an Asura has a much easier time than a Norn.
I think you misunderstood me Adine, apologies if I was unclear.
What I meant is once you have the back armour / breather is it intended that the only upgrade items (runes, gems etc) you can use on them are those with no level requirement. For example, if you want to add a +power item to the back slot item it can only be the tier 1 garnet pebble with no level requirement, you can’t add the tier 2 carnelian nugget that has a required level of 20.
Does anyone know if that is intentional or if it’s a bug. Given that the level 80 breather you can purchase from a karma vendor in Cursed Shore only has a minor rune on it I fear it may be intended, but would like clarification if possible.
I’ve tried a forum search and couldn’t find an answer to this, so apologies if it’s been covered before.
Is there any word on whether only being able to add upgrades without a level requirement to items in the back and breather slot is intentional or if it’s a bug?
As the title says, add an option to the gem store to purchase increased capacity for the collectibles storage. 250 is a pretty small amount to be able to store there, so let us buy increased space up to 500 in increments of 50.
No, YOU want raids. Do not presume to speak for others. I would rather they focus on developing group content rather than bring in raids.
