Heyo, I bought a gem card today from Gamestop for $15. When I scratched it off, there were only numbers. I found this strange, but then when I tried to redeem it, the card isn’t redeemable. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Thanks for understanding and the luck.
@Muusic: It’s not passive/aggressive posting, but a statement of fact. I’m waiting on a response from NCSoft to fix this.
@Cedo: The problem lies with the fact that I don’t remember my GW1 password. You need that for linking. Since I want to play GW1 again, howerver, I would also need to update the email/account name.
Nevermind, I’ll just go through support to see if I can get my GW1 account back.
Hey there, I have an interesting problem here that I’m hoping to fix after years of ignoring it. I used to play Guild Wars 1, but then stopped for the longest while. Using the Hall of Monuments reward calculator, I can see that my character is still valid. I still remember my main character’s name and email, but the problem is that I’ve deleted the old email a long time ago. Is it possible to get the HoM rewards from my old GW1 character? Thank you.
Contributing my main.
Charr tier 3 cultural armor minus the helm with burnished steel, brass, and midnight red dye. For the head, I’ve used reading glasses and used a Fervid Censer on the back.
Do previous reward items such as the Fused Gauntlets unlock in the wardrobe if you’ve won them, but discarded the item over time before the update?
I’m just curious since my main has unlocked tier 3 cultural armor and many other cosmetics, but never managed to save them before the update.
Heyo, I’m just to put down a list of suggestions that I think would be helpful to the game. I’ve been on the game since launch and still learning new things, so please bear with me.
- Hero Panel Miniature Slot
Along with your trinkets, it would be convenient to have a slot to hold one mini-pet of the player’s choosing. It can have the option to be hidden, but it will always be there with the player no matter where they go.
- Cultural Armor Skins
I noticed that tier one and two of the cultural weapons are available as skins (WvW weapon vendor). Why not make tiers one and two of all cultural armor available as skins? The prices would remain the same, but they would be more accessible to 80-level characters.
- Home Instance Reward Locker
For all those rewards unlocked during the history of Guild Wars2, the player should keep those rewards. If the player unlocks a special skin, then that skin can go in the Reward Locker in their Home Instance at any time. It also should function like the account reward Zenith Weapons and the HoM items where they can retrieved at any time, multiple times.
Hehe … -demented chuckling- I hope some of you FA guys like getting trapped in between EBay’s keep doors while I poured that fire down? >:3
On the starting character menu there is the legendary chest for when you get a legendary weapon. I would like this to be changed to something else if possible. Maybe make it so you have 5-10 ascended quality weapons in your collection and then, when you get a legendary, the passive cosmetic effects of the legendary will instead show on the character wielding it.
It’s just a general idea since (call me a sucker for details) I hate seeing that box just sitting there.
Too bad about GW2LFG though, since all I see are “COF / zerk build / ping gear” calls flooding it. I shouldn’t need to be a “zerker” class because of the needs of the party. Inspection of gear should be left out. You want to know my stats? See me in action and then maybe I’ll tell you, myself.
… Yautja (The Predator). ’Nuff said.
“Shhh … up there … past the treeeeeeees.” O_O
Hmmm 6/10. I like the colors, but the mask and lack of chest piece seems off compared to the full armored limbs.
Here’s mine. I went with history of my character and tried to go for streamlined features with natural colors.
Heyo, saw the thread and I thought I post my main character here, Charr Warrior.
Tier 3 Cultural Helm
Vigil Shoulders
Tier 2 Cultural Chest, Legs, and Boots
Molten Alliance Gloves
Abyss w/ Ash & Adobe dye (Blood on the fingertips)

Heyo, I’m just going to throw in my two cents and suggest an end-game Pact armor skin to be sold from Fort Trinity to partner with our Pact weapons. I was thinking, wouldn’t it make sense for the Commander of the Pact to wear his or her own set of unique armor apart from the three orders? The sets would be rare, under various nomenclatures, and bought with gold with a price range between T2 and T3 cultural armor. Now I’m hoping that others will read this and bring in their input for a design pertaining to their favorite race and profession, but I’ll start with my suggestion on Charr heavy armor.
Head – Similar to the Charr T3 helmet, but with a straight, forward-jutting horn (EVA-01 style) and flattened spikes on the lower jaw.
Shoulders – Perhaps a hybrid between Vigil and Charr T1 armor, except the spikes will have the same straight style as the head.
Chest – Something like Charr T2, but with less gaps.
Arms – Modified Priory style.
Legs – A mix between Koda dungeon armor and Charr T2 armor. Keep the armor plates, but add the side skirts. Also hem up the middle cloth so it doesn’t look so ragged.
Feet – Modified Order of Whispers style.
All of it will have the same blue light motif that the Pact weapons have.
Righor – 8/10 – Interesting, unique name you have here.
Grimm Balefist – 7/10 – There’s a lot of Grims out there, myself included, but the Balefist is nice. =)
Felix Beefguard – 9/10 – I lol’d. Beefguard needs a backstory!
Grim Jagerkin, leader of the Jager Warband under the Iron Legion. While in the fahrar, his warband was trained specifically to think like the Norn in the ways of hunting big game and using Charrzookas, artillery strikes, and good ol’ fashioned bullets to finish off their prey. Grim is a warrior who favors high-precision rifles built straight from the Black Citadel to shoot targets from out of sight, but knows there’s a time to use sword and shield for work that’s up close and personal. These habits are further instilled when he joins the Vigil to combat the Risen from Zhaitan and subsequently becomes Commander of all Pact forces.

Hmm … this is good work indeed. Now I’ve never asked for art before, so this will be my first, but perhaps I could give you a little challenge with my main here: Grim Jagerkin? I’ve made one screen up close to the face to see the tusks and details and then others in various poses you could try. I personally like the rifle check one.
Last night and today have been first times I’ve been in the World v. World maps and I have an idea concerning the “Been There, Done That” exploration title. Being an avid PvE player, I was wondering if there can be a way to explore without fighting the other players?
What I’m thinking is a buff or consumable which turns a player into a ghost or have a ghostly form to allow travel without being harmed, and in turn, cannot harm others or participate in local events.
Lore-wise, I think it can fit in as spirits of the mist wandering the battlefields on pilgrimage to key places before moving on to the next world.
Any thoughts?
Rawr! Here’s my Charr roleplaying the role of Pact Commander. Grim Jagerkin is his name.
