Why do i have to get crystalline ore to unlock the recipes for GUILD armor and weapons?

shouldnt be the guild currency enough to get guild related skins?

i understand (not agree) that u want to lock stuff into map currency to force the players to play a map (??) but it doesnt make sense that something thats not related with that map and that it already has its own currency (obtained by playing with ur guild) is tied to the currency of that map.

plz fix

I already asked a refund on the item. I didnt know it was only 1 slot i thought it was like a bag slot of something with more THAN 1 kittenING SLOT FOR 10$.

this is a total ripoff they really need to think about the pricing of the stuff they put on the gemstore

Yes, but it’s a title to get 15 armor set out of the 45 culture armor set that exist. A collection would be plus.

lets not add more collections since they where simply a way to rehash old content and keep us busy re running dungeons and killing world bosses we had already killed hundreds of times in the past for rewards that just where not worth the effort/cost involved to finish them

and lets not forget how buggy those collections are and despite multiple threads complaining about broken spawns and event chains

and your telling me you want more of this stuff ?

mebey if it was implemented in HoT instead of designed around old boring as kitten content Ive done a billion times already but my guess is even if it is in HoT they will mess that up as well and spend 2 years NOT fixing it just like these collections

ps ive done ALL colections and no they are not worth it

Two things.

1) It’s not because YOU don’t like collection that other don’t like them. I love collection and i’m know alone. I’m not a fan of WvW, but I would still love more WvW content because this improve the game overall.

2) Collection is like the easiest thing to add. Do you really thing that anet will have a choice to make between make a douzen of collection and create 12 new dungeons or something? Collection are a super cheap way to create thing to do for players. Yes it’s not proper content and they shouldn’t be a redeeming factor for a lackluster expansion (hopefull not), but it’s foolish to think that it will took over much resources that would otherwise create great thing.

Basically this collections are so easy to implent and can keep u busy for some time.

I love the collection system and i think it would be great to have more of this before HoT launches, it gives us stuff to do while we wait for the expansion and given the content draught we are living right now this is an easy way to add stuff to do.

I even have some ideas for more collections!

- Cultural weapon collector : Unlock all cultural weapon skins.
Reward : Minituare Karma train

- Mystic Collector : Unlock all mystic wepon skin
Reward : various mystic forge ingreadients or mystic forge conduit

- Strength of the Pact: Unlock all priory, vigil, whisperer and pact skins
Reward: Title Pact Commander, or Mini traherne or caladbolg skin (or all of these)

- Fractal weapon collector: >.>

- Sugar Rush: Consume various sweets and cakes from the game
Reward: metabolic primer

- Witcher: Consume slaying potions
Reward: utility primer

- Primordius weapon Collection : unlock all destroyer weapons
Reward: Title By Fire Be Purged, mini destroyer

- Bag Farmer: Open 20 of every bag droped by monsters around tyria
Reward : Home instance random bag generator (3-10 of any crafting bag each day)

If u think u have more ideas for collections post them here! or if u just think it would be great for anet to put more collection ingame bump this thread :P

Well Options are always a nice thing. I am sure plenty of people here are not posting to have an option added right away ( since that would take longer than the event lasts) but they do so in order to have options for the next year’s April fool’s day and so on. Not everyone enjoys the same things, and that was pointed out with last year’s bobbleheads. Forums are, a place for players to share their opinions after all , and I don’t see why everyone should be forced to participate in the April’s fool’s day. People have different schedules and different ways to perceive “fun” Did you like the joke? perfect , enjoy it to your heart’s content! No need to try and force everyone to see things your way though. I know Anet tends to do that since gw1 , every year on that day ( and I happen to appreciate their effort) , but I admit I disliked last year’s bobbleheads and this year’s prank isn’t really my shtick…. thus, options is the way to go for everyone to stay happy.

and to all of those people telling its a joke its just one day blah blah blah, keep in mind we are not forcing u guys to play without it, we just want anet to not to force us to play with it. some us dont play 24/7 so making a game unplayable for a day its no good

So what will this ideas accomplish?

1. fix offhours imbalance be allowing 1 server to invade every other bl and cap everything. they will now have to win in eotm to make the invasion posible and with the 2h long eotm matches the damage they will do to ppt cant be as great as now.

2. Bring EOTM back to a true wvw map where your actions and scoring there help your server. Making eotm matches shorter (2h) and with the perma bloodlust of 1 stomp 1 point guess where all the main scoring will come from? Yes thats right, from killing those uplevels pve karmatrainers… i mean from fights

3. concentrate population to make big scale fights. So when one colour borderlands goes to threat level invasion all players from all servers will probably move to the invaded borderland making another true 1vs1vs1 map where the invaders will have to decide after caping their 3rd if by score they should still fight the home borderlands server or if by ppt wise it makes more sense to fight the other invader and cap their 3rd.
Also as being a totally upgraded and sieged bl keep battles can be fun on both sides (remeber defender will have his number thinned as he will have to fight 2 servers to defend bay/hills)

4. making small team havoks and home server defenders more valuable as it will be key to try to upgrade your bl while your threat level is low, or on the other side try to by a pain in the neck for those upgrading server loyalist as an enemy havok group.

5.- “omg! my borderland map has increased to threat level danger! guess it is time to tell my pve friends and pve guildies to lend a hand in wvw!”

Another nice add on will be to have true wvw affects that are really nice for the server pve ,so pve people may be more inclined to play wvw so they get more and better boosts by helping their server in wvw.
This only applies to NA servers as EU has language problems that must be addressed and look upon before doing this idea (im an EU player playing in a NA server)

Now caping 3 borderlands will be a pain for the queues so thats why you devs will also need to make a new map! a EBG type of map called the plains of the mist (or whatever you wana call it xD) that will add to the score (with less objectives than EBG but with similar size)

lastly i would like to add how to fix the WvW rating and stale matches (maguma has been destroyed for 3 weeks before seasons and they didnt drop a tier). Get rid of the rating, the way it works now its not working. Get rid of RNG make tiers always fight each other.

Make servers move up/down a tier depending on how much score did they get on relation to their closest server.
so if you win and get a lead of more than 50k points (maybe more or less i dont have the total numbers of points a week can generate on full tick) on 2nd place you go up a tier if you get 3rd and lose for more than 50k second place you go down a tier example:

t3 DB 300k CD 220k Mag 190K

t4 SBI 250k NSP 220K IOJ 100k

here in t3 DB will go up CD and MAG will stay in t4 SBI and NSP will stay ioj will go down

EX 2:

t3 DB 250k CD 220k Mag 100K

t4 SBI 210k NSP 220K IOJ 200k

here t4 should stay the same but as there is a server in t3 that has been “destroyed” winner of t4 will go up and Mag will go down a tier.

Hello I have been playing gw2 from 1y and a half, and what i enjoy most is WvW.

GW2 combat system surpases any other mmo in that aspect and it is time gw2 dev team put some effort in fixing the gw2 endgame that is wvw.
GW2 has 2 endgames: Skins and WvW/pvp, but they actually only put effort in one of them and not a big effort.

Firt lets get WvW straight. WvW isnt meant to be balanced, is not meant to have balanced opposing teams but i’ve seen 20 man groups winning against 30 man, the problem is 20 man cant win 60 man.
So how can you fix that population imbalance? truth is you cant, but you can make it a way fighting outmanned can be fun.

First off with the release of megaservers and the update in guilds now being “megaserved” (which is nice) there is no need of choosing a server unless its for WvW.
so there is no longer a need for 24 servers. Imo there are only 4 tiers with numbers for a real fun and enjoyable wvw.

So first we merge the 12 left servers into 3 new ones with new names and let the server communities decide which server they want to merge be doing a vote. Like the ellen kiel and evon gnashblade vote. Each player of the 12 servers that are going to merge is gona have 2 tickets to vote the 2 servers they want to merge into in a week time. The best posible matches will be paired example:
Kaineng votes to merge with in a most votes to less list : 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 10 11
so depending on the other lists kaineng will be merged with 2 servers (they arent what kaineng chose 1 or 2 they are the best posible match between all the lists)
all players that are merging have the posibility to transfer to any t3 t4 or the new t5 servers without any gem cost.

Now we have population somewhat fixed how do we fix the night hours?

easy reduce the playable maps so the most people online server doesnt get an advantage. How to do this without creating montrous queue’s its easy.
And here comes my second idea and how to make eotm an WvW map.
The problem with eotm and why its a huge karma train is cos the actions taken there doesnt affect wvw maps, but what if it did?

So we now have 1 Eternal battlegrounds map and 3 borderlands maps. Eternal battlegrounds is the place where the 3 servers fight nonstop and the borderlands map are your home territory where you have to fight invaders off. What if invaders couldnt sack your land whenever they wanted?

So the idea is this. (take mind this is just a guideline all numbers and idea can be reworked with your feedback)

Boderlands maps will be closed for invasion. there will be 3 threat levels in a boderlands map: unrest, danger and invasion. each level has a enemy server player slot cap. So for unrest there can only be say(this is just a guideline) 5 players from each server on your borderland, for danger enemy can have 15 enemy players in your bl and for invasion they can full cap your bl with enemy players. The Home server will always have same cap in the map (full) so they can upgrade stuff. Its up to the havoks teams to try to deny that precious supply when the borderlands map is only at unrest threat level.

Now how do the threat levels change? easy depends on the outcome of your server colour in eotm (at RESET all threat is maxed)
EOTM is a fight of 3 colours. the reason you will now be in eotm for your server is because winning or losing and eotm match will make threat levels increase in the other servers and decrease in yours.

Reduce EOTM match to 2 hours.

Make stomps count for +1 point to EOTM score (permanent bloodlust in eotm).

Make eotm score accesible from outside eotm.

Make servers colours random, dont make always green the most powerfull server or the one with best rating in the match, MAKE THEM RANDOM.

Also try and keep eotm as balanced as posible opening new instances only when there is a similar number of players in the 3 colors, this may have to bring queues to eotm but it shouldnt be long.

So when eotm match finishes you have 3 colours in 3 diferent positions. First will have his borderland threat level reduced by -1 2nd will have his threat borderland level changed by 0 and third place will have his boderland threat level increased by +1.
So there you go EOTM is now a key map for your server succes in wvw.

So what if a boderlands map that was at threat level invasion and has its threat level reduced to danger? The enemy blobs will be still on your map but all wps they control will be contested (even the spawn one) till their population is reduced for the threat level the borderland is, so being alive and ressing up before the 5 min spawn mark will be more important now, and killing that enemy blob will be key for the home server. if the player hasnt been ressed in the 5 min mark and the wps are contested he will be kicked into eotm.

Fractal lvl 60

So i think it would be nice to have fractals level up to 60 have new mistlocks for 51-60 and a new item drop (like the fractal tonic at 41-50) for those tiers.
would be awesome for us who like to fractal a lot to have new challanges.

actually max ar you can get for a character without buying any of the expensive infusions in the tp (the +6 and higher) its 85.

thats means you can do lvl 50-59 at 70 ar and lvl 60 at 85 ar

getting a new fractal will also be soo nice, like the abaddon one evon promised, i mean fractals are small mini-dungeons cant be that hard to design a new one.

Im one of the people who worked really kitten having an nsp bay t3. i was on the map for 6h.
We saw you guys (GH guild) using portal into the inner wall to jump into lords room while NSP was attacking fairly from the north. Emrhy bay didnt get into lords room for as long as i have been on the map so that portal was imposible. We were trying to get screenies on that on the next takes since sbi bay has been taken the same way a couple of times.
