Remove ALL kittening PvE Events from WvW.

I don’t understand why anyone thought these were a good idea.

The last thing I would ever want is more PvE content in WvW. The new maps are already bad enough. This has to be a troll idea.

Gliding and Masteries need to stay where they are, so we as WvW players will never have to see them.

Not all players want to do WvW and should still be able to access everything.

Some of us kittening HATE PvE and have no interest in ever playing it…
we also should still be able to access everything from wvw/pvp.

I have thousands of hours in this game and will never be bored enough to play through the story quests, or enter a dungeon. If it gets that bad, I log out.

What I was trying to say was, there is no right and wrong way to play the game, and everyone likes different things…. but please stop forcing us into areas of the game we do not enjoy or wish to play, only for the rewards!

I would like to hear what is going on with this as well.

From what I read when I purchased HoT, WvW was listed as an example of where autoloot could be used.

I was really looking forward to this and was the first mastery tree I leveled.

Huge disappointment when I tried it in WvW.

1. Dont even THINK about adding gliding to WvW. IMO this would be the worst thing that could happen to WvW.

2. Remove all of this PvE and environmental crap from WvW. Banners especially!

3. Remove these new BL. Bring back old BL or drastically change. We need maps flatter/easier/smaller designed for pvp combat! Not jumping puzzles, fall damage, or 100 places for mezmers to hide. GvG open field combat is actually my favorite land design.

4. Remove PvE farming for WvW upgrades! WvW players should not be forced into PvE content. We know you loove PvE Anet, but some of us hate it.

5. Balance/Stability/CC need a little work, but slightly more minor than the other things that need fixing. Also would like my AutoLoot to work in WvW. I was very disappointed after farming for this mastery, and it didnt’t work.

You could have someone send you 10 messages, filling up your queue causing no more messages to ever be displayed. Not exactly what you want but a possible workaround.

Thanks, this is the only “solution” I have found.

Playing in HotM, my mailbox will fill up with gold selling spam very quickly.

I guess i just have to get used to the red full mail icon.

Pull up the Friend List area, and change your status from green (online) to grey (offline)… No one can whisper you then, this can have detrimental effects in other areas of the game, so I would be very cautious in using it excessively.

I almost always play in offline mode and I understand this is how I block whispers, my question was how to block everyone from mailing me. Detrimental effects? not sure what you mean by that.

The only way I found to block new mail, is to leave my mailbox full.

Was hoping and asking if there is another way.

This is the type of message I wish to block.

I love multiplayer games for the pvp, and am always in TS with friends.

I’m just trying to filter out random people I don’t know or wish to talk to.

It would be different If any of the messages were about something besides gold selling spam.

I hate PvE and single player games, PvP is the only thing that interests me.

Hopefully someone has the answer to this problem.

I often play in offline/hidden mode so I’m not bothered by random whispers and the gold selling spammers every few mins. It’s the worst in Heart of the Mists.

But now I am constantly getting mail from either players saying “Hey tried to whisper, but you were offline” or the normal Spam Mail from Gold Sellers.

Its driving me crazy and my mailbox is always full…. Can I just block ALL MAIL somehow?

Yes I block each individual player when I receive a mail, but with the gold sellers alone is hundred of random gibberish character names I have block 1 at a time.

I bought HoT, and I do enjoy the new specs!
But please please remove the kittening banners and new maps.

The only thing Anet could do to kitten WvW up more than it already is, would be to allow gliding. That would be the day I quit.

Please give us an option to turn events, like April Fools, off. It was cute at first but it makes the game unplayable, especially PvP and WvW.
