ANET’s Feline Filtering System is so brilliant, that it is beginning to spill over onto other forums.

I almost sort of wished they denied that it was in place, so that people actually believed it was a thing.

Ignoring the bunk statistics..

- Titles are already awarded for WvW achievements.
– “Armor Skins” are already rewarded through the WvW armor set you can buy with badges of honor.

So I am confused as to what else the OP wants, unless its a replacement for the current Commander system.

As an aside, I too would like to see some sort of “ranks” awarded, but that these ranks should be awarded by the guilds that have the largest presence in their respective WvW servers and the awarded meet some criteria for WvW participation and accomplishments. This sort of already exists through the commander system (since only large guilds can afford it, and don’t have an incentive to buy it unless they have a large presence in WvW), however it has the negative affect of forcing that guild to farm PvE to afford it, and it also may be abused in the future as more and more individuals begin to be able to afford it.

Also being from TC, I have to agree with sharpclaw here. WvWvW being a 3 sided FFA, it is always going to seem like 2 sides are “teaming up” against the other, when in reality, they are only doing what is advantageous to them. The devs themselves have stated multiple times that it is the intent of this pvp format for temporary alliances to form, then later eventually break, which is exactly what happened today.

All that said, this is definitely a much better fight than we had last week, and I look forward to an even battle throughout the week. So lets stop whining about alliances and get back into WvWvW!
