Welcome to our humble abode. If you stumbled upon us, then I hope you enjoy your stay, if you were brought to us by a calling, a need to be a part of something, then we welcome you into the ‘family’, and if you are a guild who are interested in drawing us into your events, thank you!
As you may have seen on the site’s front, the guild stands for honor and a sense of peace to nature, a balance and harmony to give and get when wandering through the land, carving your adventure. Now just because the guild -stands- for such things, doesn’t mean we will turn down the dark shadowy figure, because that is the spice to life, as it always is. If everyone was the same, well, you get the idea.
As a whole our guild IC is a family that represent a code of respect, while being a group of friends sitting around a table after a week of adventuring, laying down their trials and finding comfort and humor in each other. An odd bunch, but a bunch brought together in one way or the other by a common means. The guild itself is not run by one sole person, but a core group of people, the founding members of the guild, each bringing something different to the table, enough to keep that balance, however every voice is heard, every person given opportunity to speak. The guild represents a sort of chaos within the balance, druidic in that nature shouldn’t be harmed and that with the awakening of the darkness, we should work effortlessly and tirelessly to restore Tyria back to what it was, while still being true to yourself. Most of the IC events will be held with the theme to kill someone harming the world, ourselves, tracking things, or building ourselves up as a core group. While big events shape and tell the story of us a whole in the guild, we welcome and encourage you to post your own side stories, things that happen to your character.
What we would like to have happen oocshly is that sort of friendly-family feel, a group of buddies enjoying a wonderful game together, while building ideas around it. We do plan in the days to come to involve ourselves into world PvP and raids and things like that, its just that we all want to immerse ourselves into the game, so there is no rush, we all want to enjoy at our own pace. We encourage people to help others out when needed, and if any ideas to better us as a guild are given, we will gladly hear them.
As you can see, just like the game, the guild has a history and each person has a role to play to further that history, but we need every able body to involve themselves into it. The neat thing about this game is that you are not simply connected to one guild, but a whole network, so there is so much more opportunity then previous games before.
As a whole The White Stag isn’t a serious guild in that we plan to be hard core raiders, or that we expect you to be on every day to come role play and do events, however we do expect a level of respect from everyone with our tag. If you are on, try to make yourself a part of events, and granted, the game is still new and we are still working out details and making an effort to work on Role Play events for everyone to enjoy, if you can bare with us through the stages of being new, we promise to make each event as memorable as possible, each encounter character building and enjoyable as we can. We would also like to break down alts as much as possible, granted that we all want to play more then one class, one face, but to make it easier to have story moving and character growth, we want to limit alt-itus.
We have no real ‘rules’ per se, just the simple ones, be respectful to your fellow players, we have a zero tolerance for ooc drama, and will quickly eradicate it if it happens, as we all play to enjoy our time. Our guild is a 18+ guild, with the simple fact that in the events we will host, as well as chat itself, we are adults, and there may be adult themes, so be forewarned, we are not ‘child safe’ and if you are under 18, we assume you asked permission to join, to keep us from being held accountable for -your- reaction to us.
In the days to come we will post up more threads icshly about the guild, who the counsel is, things of that nature, so again, bear with us as we collect our thoughts and make this a much better home for you to come into.
