If you aren’t intimate with your target, and fighting them up close with all of the amazing tricks and talents already given to you, then what sort of thief are you, really? Any o’ you cool cats ever played a ranger?
this has nothing to do with the regular discussion, but does TC have any other players then thieves?
playing in EB today and started to get frustrated when it took 15 minutes to down a perma invisible thief. then i ran into another thief immediately after that. then another, and another and another.
i played against at least 15 different people, all thieves. when we took a tower, it was defended by all thieves. in one hour i found only 2 people from TC who where not thieves.
Haven’t you noticed how many of our thieves are dressed as pirates? We’re the RP server, and thieves make excellent pirates.
Really though, despite your possible exaggeration (it’s a bit unlikely that you run into 15 different thieves in a row, in my opinion), I feel as though thieves are just a popular WvW class choice. I see many from every server. Just have to learn to be a step ahead of ’em once they reveal, or bring an ally or two. No big deal, my friend.

(A special Thank you to the guild with the Tag [OOTT], and also to [TV]. Those were the two main guilds I noticed there. It was a lot of fun, and it was really cool of you guys to let my friend and I through. I really enjoyed having a great experience with your server, and felt that I should compliment you guys as awesome and classy. I know it was only a few of you in comparison to your entire server, but your kindness reflected well on your community and brought my opinion of the server as a whole up a notch). Thanks for the fun night, and bravo to anyone who read that long somewhat badly written story. I’ve never role played before, so I hope that I didn’t offend any of the pros over in TC with my poorly done work.
Oh, you were the elementalist in the arena! I really enjoyed this, it was a pretty excellent depiction of your journey through the puzzle, I must say. I’m not of the guilds you mentioned, but I was the thief in Whispers armor, a.k.a. the stranger who cheered you on during your duel. Haha. We were trying to keep it peaceful in the puzzle, for as long as that is actually possible anyway, but we did have a server mate who was more into the PvP aspect of it. I’m glad you got to make it through.
