Same thing is happening on my laptop and 2nd pc
Possibly something to do with the region im playing from?
(playing from the UK btw – will see in a few hours when the rest of the UK wakes up)

I took off AVGs Resident Shield, ran the launcher, and it worked. Looks like it got scared of the patch.

Edit: I spoke to soon, I can now get through the initial ‘launcher update’ part, but I’m still downloading the actual patch a pitiful speed (a few kb per minute).

I’m having the same problem, logged off a couple minutes before the patch, haven’t been able to get back in since. When i start the launcher the download rate quickly to falls to 0Kb/s and nothing happens.

I tried following the steps outlined in this post:

but couldn’t get the repair thing to work. When i tried to redownload the game I just got the same launcher problems.
