Yeah that is a problem. Vigor uptime is pretty high with the extra boon duration. Any idea for a different food?
I will get ascended accessories I’ve just been a bit lazy. I have the gold and most of the materials to.
Edit*
Okay this has all the accessories as ascended.

Okay I’ve read the advice and this is what I’ve come up with now. I’ve got the target toughness. Power hasn’t really changed but I’ve dropped some health, crit damage and crit chance.

Messed around a bit more this looks better.

Hi,
This is my current build having lots of fun with it.
I mainly WvW roam and duel.

I would like advice on what armour or trinket pieces I should replace.
I don’t really want to change the traits since it suits my play style currently. My playstyle being able to stack decent amount of might for a good period of time and do the standard sword mobility and teleports.
I would like to get some toughness at least so I don’t fall apart like a dry sand castle.
I’d like to maintain about 40% crit chance, 70% crit damage, at least 15k health and I like having high amount of power to make up for the lower crit damage.
Many thanks to whoever can help.
P.s. Oh and please don’t say “oh just use this weapon set blah blah blah” or “This build sucks blah blah blah”.
Hehe, tried this with other weapon sets at all? I hear larc strike=>slice can hit pretty hard, faster than cnd backstab.
S/D is more of a pressure weapon than anything else. It does decent damage, but the sheer burst isn’t as high as that of D/D (or I’ve been lying to myself for years).
Big numbers are fun, but then again a 4 signet S/D sounds so stupid I just might give it a try at some point. If something awesome happens, I’ll post it
Well I run S/D 0/10/0/30/30 with an aim to stack might and I can larcenous strike for about 5-6k with 20ish stacks of might. I only have about 70% crit damage as well so who knows you could get a 10k larcenous with full zerker, traits and bloodlust set up.
Well I know that thief traps if I’m being very generous are pretty rubbish in general.
I know Ambush and shadow trap can be useful but I want to know what you guys think of all of them and if you want to change them how?
The skill itself?
Traits?
Remove entirely?
I want to know what fellow thieves think of them since they’re rarely talked about even less than venoms!
Try Bowl of Orrian Truffle and Meat Stew. Gives one stack of might every time you dodge roll so with that and your traits you get two might stacks on each dodge roll. Also the food increases endurance refill rate by 40% so you can roll more in a given time.
I’ve replaced the rifle with a longbow and I am doing a lot better with it even since I get immobilize and burn even though I lose a interrupt I just have to time my shield bash and kick better to get confusion stacks, which is getting better with practice.
I decided to make a condition warrior after playing the skull crack for a while who can apply a lot of confusion with the new runes and trait. So far it’s been pretty fun I can stand my ground and kill other roamers and won a few duels as well. However I do believe it can be improved.
Currently I’m having trouble against the bunker ranger who just dodges and transfers 3 conditions to their pet every 10 seconds and the classic skullcrack warrior if I’m duelling them, roaming I have a better chance.
The main problem with this build is the amount of practice you need to do to get the timing to interrupt any skill e.g. their stun skill, auto attack etc. Since wasting your interrupts hinders you a lot.
Any constructive criticism is welcome.

A few answers to questions I predict:
- Why rending strikes? Because I wanted to more cover conditions and it helps teammates if I’m fighting in a group
- Why Rampage? Because it is awesome with the traits and runes that apply confusion on interrupt since it has so many interrupts, the auto chain has a daze! and it helps with escaping since there’s no greatsword or warhorn here.
- Why Stomp? It’s a physical stun breaker so it’s on a shorter cooldown due to physical training plus it can interrupt as well or knock people out of shadow refuge.
- Why Fear me? Since I have +70% condition duration at point blank you can fear someone for 5 seconds straight giving you time to do escape or prevent them from doing anything.
Making staggering blow usable whilst moving I see would be the easiest to implement since there’s already a moving whirling animation the guardians whirling wrath.
Whenever I reflected a killshot on my thief all my initiative is drained.
Video below shows this.

I found out today after testing on the pvp golems that ricochet does affect shadowshot and if the multiple targets are far enough you can strike each of them with the dagger portion of the skill if they’re too close you end up jumping to the last target and hit only that target but quickness does let you hit multiple targets that are closer together.
Wondering if anyone actually uses this as it would be quite fun and funny to shadowstep multiple times in one skill blinding and hitting each target confusing your opponents into what is going on.
I understand that this would be a liability if you’re trying to get to a specific target but whatever I see this as a very fun thing to do!
I was just playing some WvW and I was fighting a warrior who had a rifle and when I reflected his killshot with whirling axe stolen from him my initiative dropped to zero. Is it thinking that kill shot is now mine and that initiative is now adrenaline that needs to be drained? and this happened multiple times in the fight.
Most of the times when I join a match in sPvP signet of malice passive isn’t on. I need to use it before hand for the passive to come up. A bit annoying when I forget it’s not up at the start and I don’t gain any health from it.
You might want to change the damage to be slightly lower I’ve used unload for a bit with a just for fun build with zerker gear and I’ve reached 6-9k consistently depending on whom I’m fighting. With the final charge damage you have there you’ve got hundred blades coming out of your pistols that lock on with every bullet while on the move; I am assuming you can still move here.
