Guild Wars 2

Hi, I have never used the mystic forge before, but I am interested in trying. I have looked up guides but it all seems to be PVP orientated. Can you make PVE gear through the MF or is it PVP only?

Also, my character is quite low, only 24 as of now. Does the mystic forge only create items for level 80’s, or can I start making armor for myself now? What are the recipes for these, or where can I find them?

Sorry to sound like a complete noob, I have tried to look up on how to use it but it just seems rather confusing. Any help would on how to correctly use it would be greatly appreciated.
