I always have my client set for “remember account name” “remember password” but i accidentally clicked off on “remember password” so it wiped it, but i forgot my password, so i typed in 3-5 of the passwords i normally use, but it didnt work. So i hit “forgot password” but in the url it goes from “/reset-password” to “/disabled” with the page on guild wars 2 saying “not available”…
I have the remember password set for this site as well so i’m able to get onto here and access the forums still, fortunately.. please help, i just want to play lol i was playing an hour or two earlier :/ not really sure what to do!
This is now about to go into the fifth day as of tomorrow at around 3-4pm est.
I’m hoping that my friend is more likely to get his account back the longer this takes but the hacker is STILL levelling the character. We found the hacker somewhere in Fireheart rise just killing crimson moas and grubs.. he’s now level 69. When my friend was originally hacked he was at level 58 :/.
-Are there rollbacks on individual accounts/characters for item loss or unwanted level gain?
-Is my friend more likely to get his account back the longer this takes?
-Do the ticket support staff actually respond to every ticket eventually? He has been having some difficulties with the tickets now; having to make a new account, Anet making him an account for GW2 as well, etc.
happened to my friends account as well, about 4 days and we still haven’t heard back yet.. the guy has been killing bears and ice drakes for 3 days straight.. he has now moved to Fireheart rise, the charr area, and is killing crimson moas and grubs -__-
I believe he is either lagging hardcore or using a weird bot, as i’ve seen him do this teleport type thing to an enemy, as well as, shoot enemies from extremely far away, i’m now starting to see many other people do the same thing…
It’s very irritating to both my friend and myself, seeing as how we were actually going to do a dungeon the day we found out he got hacked, he was supposed to be our fifth :/
I’m very disappointed as nearly all the emails he is getting are automated, do you guys not have hired staff to actually attend to these players. let’s be real here, you certainly have the money..
How long do these situations usually take? The person who hacked his account is still playing or botting on it..my friend wants the account BLOCKED until he can regains access of it. Or else the hacker would have gotten the account to level 80, and this will be very demoralizing to my friend.
Thanks for posting this, it was very reassuring to know that it is more than likely that my friend will get his account back! I’m just PONDERING..where are all these hackers located? :O
Hey guys, my friends account was hacked, he said he got an email saying that someone had updated the email address. He however, did not do it himself. The account was compromised since august 29th i believe, he only found this out recently in an email. all of the MMORPG scamming going on recently in emails probably got him confused causing him to ignore the email at first. He submitted a ticket yesterday around 3 or 4pm, and no response has been given so far. The account name is “ciso”, my friend asked me to post on the forum asking fr his account to be BLOCKED, as the hacker is actually LEVELLING his character, perhaps botting it, and he does not want it to be levelled by someone else. Please respond, and if you need to ask for his own email please PM me. also, he was not able to get onto the forum since his email/account name was changed :/, he has the serial code since it was retail bought, if that helps at all
