This is the build I use when I run with an organised group against other enemy groups/zergs. I can soak up a lot of damage and also dish out quite a bit of hurt along with some CC’s but nothing excessive.
Maybe I am mistaking something but even with 2141 cond dmg I still can’t get those 1-1.3k ticks of fear that some have spoken of. The most I got was just over 300 dmg. So someone know what I should do?
Keep in mind that thieves want weapons that allow them to be agile so rifles or longbows are out of question.
I would like to see them with something like a quarterstaff though, would be interesting.
The dagger skin you get from Hall of Monuments are pretty big, and they’re free!
My Asuran ranger was named Pet O Phile, before aNet banned me for 48 hours and forced me to change the name.
My Sylvari mesmer (with the mushroom hat appearance) was named Magick Mushroom… Before aNet banned me for 48 hours and forced me to change my name.
edit; 8/10, I like Germany.
Ideas aren’t too bad but imo, I think pistols should stick to superior single-target damage just like daggers. Range AoE on thieves are perfectly fine with just SBs, so the ground-targetting AoE on Unload that you suggested doesn’t appeal to me.
Also, I too think boon ripping should stay with S/D to give it an edge. Instead, have something similar to the shortbow skill 3 maybe, such as “Performing a roll, dodging incoming attacks, and fire a shot causing weakness and making foes vulnerable”.
That was just an idea on a spot, I’m sure other people has more constructive ideas though.
I’m going to put it bluntly here, the main problem is you’re a bad thief.
Thieves do not need buffs or anything in PvP, they’re fine as they are.
I run with a S/D initiative regen. build and I have no problems with 1v1’s with any classes, I’ll lose if I am outplayed admittably.
So stop your whining and learn to play.
Been a while since Plantlife made an appearance, safe to say this guy has been revamped since a few months ago.
Went for the “posh moron with a fox-tail-fur-thingy scarf and unicorn bow” look and think it’s safe to say that it is a fairly original design!
