How often do these occur (meaning any applicable beginning of each chain) independently of each other? And is the time between each dependent upon when the last part of each respective chain is completed? And are there any ‘timers’ out there similar to the ones for the dragons/world bosses? Thanks.

Anyone see where to get this? “Recipe: Fur Cloth Helm” or any other related recipes for fur lined items? I see end products on the trading post but can’t seem to track down the vendor that might have it; nor can I find any info on it on the internet. Thanks in advance.

Okay, so a few friends and I cycled through this a few times; and here’s what we can tell (to also confirm another post that was in the Dynamic Events section):

The meta event will not occur when the captain boss/event is up (related to the “Protect Bill and Hekja as they clear Risen from the area” event). Because of this, you may have to fight the captain boss multiple times. This in itself was a task as this boss takes some time. With a smaller group, I would suggest respawning as fast as you can rather than waste the time to revive. No attackers present and the bosses health will start to go back up; if he goes back down below deck, he’ll fully revive his health. We tried to bring him topside as well as outside into the yard as much as possible. You’ll also have to tend to the constant mobs of risen and other pirates that respawn fast.

The signs that the meta will start soon – the two npc’s (Bill and Hekja) will not respawn near the cannons once you’ve killed the captain pirate; and Jenny, the merchant npc (make sure she’s not dead – you’ll have to revive her otherwise as we did) will run towards the beach cannons and into the water. After that, the meta event will start a few minutes after (took about 10 to 15 mins for us after Jenny disappeared). You’ll destroy the cannons on the north and south hills; then you’ll destroy the beach cannons and door at the same time; then you’ll fight Taidha. The achievement still appears random; but today, 2 more guildies got it while one other did not. Best of luck to you.

Is there a sequence of events that triggers the ‘The Campaign Against Taidha Covington’ meta event to happen? We’ve fought the captain pirate several times with no meta event taking place. The meta occurred right after the most recent server reset, but unfortunately, not everyone got the ‘Kill the Hydra Queen’ achievement. Also was alerted to the meta taking place midway through, but nobody knows how it was triggered.

Three doors in Queensdale as well; one spider spawner and one gargolye spawner on western end of map. Third is a skeleton spawner on east side of map.
