I also noticed that when I went to do part of personal story that now is lvl 60 content, I got letter from Logan Thackeray about him going to Caudecus manor. The thing is that I already did Caudecus manor story when I was lvl 40.
Also since I did all the personal story parts first and then all else with my new character I know that you don’t get to play the story part where you meet Destiny’s Edge until after you have access to Ascalonian Catacombs story. So new players are going to help some random Char named Rytlock in AC. After helping him they get to meet Destiny’s Edge with their racial counterpart.
While I agree with most of your points,
- Fix Orr, in other words, Orr shouldn’t still be controlled by undead. I’ve posted on this before in more detail
Please offer a link where you describe this more in detail.
- Some type of gear progression
As long as it’s not vertical progression.
- Add blood. Make the fantasy world of GW2 as dark as the concept art and not the goody two shoes we currently have. Appeal to adults with money and not 10 year olds!
I’m gonna say no to this one as there’s enough, in fact too much particles in the battlefield already.
We really don’t need any more vertical progression, so no.
I don’t know how many posters here that have killed teq are from US, but I think partly the reason pugs fail in EU is because the “show only your language” chat option is ON by default. Most people don’t even know about that option there. And even when I knew about it, it tooks some while to remember that chat had its own options.
I have tried teq only twice after megaserver and failed both times and I really think the reason is (mostly) because some people don’t even get the messages on map chat. Some commanders tried speaking french or german but I don’t think it helps if people haven’t touched their chat options.
I deleted my transmutation stones because I didn’t see any use for them and I needed bank space. Now I regret it.
I really like these changes, especially because I like to play wvw with multiple characters.
The new wardrobe appears to be an awesome step in the right direction. I love that my bank is now freed up and the skins I paid for will be saved, allowing me to put them on any character without the use of splitters. At first I was happy about this, but then I looked into it more.
I have mixed feelings about this because the wardrobe is still pay to change or grind for 20+ minutes to explore an area for a transmutation crystal/charge. I am curious as to why Anet came this far only to put a monetary price on changing the looks on our gear. I have already paid for armors, why should we continue to have to pay to change things up? Why can’t this just be unlimited?
This pretty much says what I felt when checking the blog yesterday. I was really excited about wardrobe until I noticed the transmutation fees. “If I already grinded dungeons a lot to get these cool skins, why do I have to pay more to change my characters look.”
After thinking about it though, I realized that I wouldn’t have changed my chars look that often anyways.
And this change is really big step in the right direction. Changing character’s look is much easier after the patch, even with the price.
Still Anet hasn’t commented about acquirement of transmutation fees. Maybe there will be some good way to get those so that the fee doesn’t really matter unless someone wants to chance their character all the time.
Really great news but I hope there’s a way to get transmutation charges also by playing instead of only buying them with gems (I’m pretty sure that you can buy them with gems after patch).
I know that you can convert transmutation crystals and stones to charges to but I guess they won’t be dropping after the patch.
Yes.
I think Anet is doing good job with the game. Feature patch is going to be exciting.
