They need to rebuild the Ranger. From beginning to end. Only class where skill that gives more damage is auto-attack. This is ridiculous. Ranger is far from dps, far from support, far from anything. Traits wrong, skills buggy, no update, no nothing.
But.. oh wait, im rolling thief. I dont care more ^^

As far as I am aware, across EVERY class the majority of your damage dealing is going to be with your “1” skill chain.

ele is a little different, i get most damage out of lava font and meteor shower. or earth shatter added with shards but i don’t think i’ve played any other class to know how they work. im on ranger forums to learn what people like and don’t like and to get a heads up in what im about to be leveling

no penalty, its basically to stop poeple from anywhere else accessing your account and stealing your stuff. like the battle.net authenticator but Anet work on IP. i log on at work and their IP changes hourly.

do you play on a dongle? i do and that sometimes gets affected.

do you guys go beserk if you don’t win the lottery? :P
bad things happen, just gotta take it on the chin, i haven’t paid a single penny for this game (bar actually purchasing it) and i’m still having fun.

this game is what you make of it.

If you expect to pay a small amount and get the most amazing things then you’re gonna be a little dissapointed (unless your one lucky sod) if you don’t enjoy the game or have fun, you’ll spend more time complaining than actually playing, and won’t that look silly

I’m having a little trouble understanding finisher combo’s etc. (and as i am with my fiancee a lot of the time i have barely any time on GW2)

i’m play elementalist. so if i went into water and used healing rain then went into earth and fired stone shards through it would it make those shards heal any friendly they touch before hitting their intended target? or lava font and stone shards etc.?

sorry guys but i udes to play a lot of WoW where the PvP is very basic and one dimensional Compared to Guild wars.

If the metoers are easy to avoid and they waste a dodge on it. isn’t that a good thing for your team? since there’s less chance they can avoid a more damaging or debilitating attack?
sorry guys but i’ve just skimmed through what people are saying, i’m only a staff user never had daggers don’t really want to either.

am i supposed to be swapping elements in battle even though im specced air (lvl 15) i find myself with all my skills on cooldown so i swap to a new element and use those etc. until i reach back to air. is that how i’m meant to play them or am i a little confused?

i love elementalist, i only use staff so i don’t know about the rest, everything you said with it makes good sence to me apart from the static field dodgy thing. in my opinion if they dodge into it then the moment they’ve stopped (and they are still slightly in it) should be stunned. if you’ve dodged through the whole of it then i agree with you

Pratelic Dumond, Female Elementalist, raised as commonfolk and has a love for Air magic. roughly 5 foot tall but can bring down Giants with her Mastery of the elements.

only just found this out myself, in WvW i’d usually just use my no.3 (im ele) which turns me to mist so i can run away for a bit and hopefully hide away haha

i can’t actually explore with the ammount of events, i mean my karma is going through the roof i can almost get a tier one weapon and im level 15 hehe. i love them and i’ve done some twice just because i thought i’d give others a helping hand.
