I have finished Go for the Gold Achievement in the past before HoT… After HoT it says I’m missing Badges 4, 16, 17, and 27 I have went to all locations & took screen shot to show the badges are not there I have my setting, set to show all yellow objects… I did a video to show the issue, I also submitted a ticket for this issue ticket number 2215888.

I think you’re missing what Mistress Collisto is trying to say.

Each tier had its own culture & sub-cultures unique that made WvW fun for them.

ANet merging things forces 1 culture & 1 way to play WvW to dominate.

WvW sometimes isn’t about wanting to be Ranked #1.

It’s not possible for everybody to be Ranked #1 either.

We sometimes just want a place to play…where sharing struggles with friends & “family” that you recognize & feel comfortable with…give meaning to play time.

A place where you have identity & fit in…a place you can call “Home”…even though we’re not Ranked #1 & we’re not running Elite Builds.

It may sound silly to you, but it’s not for others…imho.

Merging the servers but not uping the amount of people allowed into the servers is dumb. WvW has been up literally for litter 40 seconds and there is already 300 people waiting que. Pic related.

Wait, so those of us who intentionally sought out low-tier servers to avoid zergs/queues are going to be paired with the highest population servers? I paid money to transfer servers to avoid exactly that.

EDIT: I should say that I do like the overall changes to WvW, and I see the necessity of some sort of server merge/pairing. My specific concern is that for those of us on lower tier servers there is going to be a rather large change in the game experience; once that most of us will see as a negative (not to mention the reaction of the higher tier servers suddenly finding their queued BG’s full of solo roamer types from their partner server). If we wanted to be on the highest tier servers we would have transferred there.

Obviously it is too late to change the design for the first round of the beta, but perhaps a system where the lowest tier servers are rolled up together into linked servers to provide a moderately populated lower tier environment may be worth testing?

I agree 100% I was on JQ for a while got sick of the game play in a T1 server zergs & ques…

I moved back to DR where I started out & have not looked back I love low pop servers & I really have no time for ques. Also the atmosphere is like day & night when it come to T8, T7, & T6 (casual play) High tiers are more serious & tend to be a bit more toxic at times. (This is my personal view)

My main game play along with my guild is WvW if the population stays this high in WvW & to mention I waited over an hour in que I’ll be retiring my commander tag & leaving the guild wars community. I love the game as is… low pop… bugs and all. I love my DR community & my guildies but I really don’t enjoy any other area of the game not even HoT

I have a concern that’s pretty immediate when it comes to linking servers…as an admin, I have had TC admins contact me about setting up channels for our guilds etc. I’m more than slightly annoyed that ANet isn’t giving us our matched servers ahead of time. They did not confirm or deny the meeting notes that got linked last week. Are they really going to leave us hanging until reset?

I agree this is going to be annoying If we have to pair worlds might as well be for good rather than swapping worlds, It’s nice to get to know the people on a server & their play styles… I stay out of EoTM because of that…. To much zerging & no skill. Looks like WvW is heading closer & closer to PvP & EoTM my least to favorite places lol

I agree one thing I want to mention when you play a balance of both PvE & WvW it is very easy to miss your loot in WvW because you get used to not hitting the loot button in PvE head to WvW & have to get into the habit of hitting it… I would love to see this added to WvW as well.

I’m having the same issue too just for the record I was trying to play wintersday on my Rev not sure if that could have been the issue

Dang It Leeroy here (A Norn Thief)…. So I watched the cooking show the other day that Guild War 2 started I loved it & thought of a cookie recipe I have on hand & wanted to share… It comes in handy for a sweet treat in the cold Shiverpeak Mountains….

1 cup of peanut butter
1 cup of sugar
1 egg

mix together to form a firm dough. scoop up a teaspoon full, round it out, place about 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 F for about 15 minutes (or until browned) (you may need to adjust bake time and temp. a bit. I find they turn out better if baked at a low temp for a few minutes longer then regular cookie dough.

Optional: Hershey Kisses added after they have cooled and are a little warmer than room temp.

NOTE: We Norn’s Just take this same recipe & a large pizza pan & make one large cookie as seen in the attached picture.

I know of the diamond legend from EU sunny bunny… Since months ago.. I even played with sunny bunny at edge of mist when they visited NA servers

I am aware there is alot of diamond ranked… Maybe around 20- 30 are diamonds ?? Maybe even less.. But That is still few compared to thousands of gw2 players that havent reached diamond

What i am saying is… There is only few of us diamonds that also have pvp dragon… Should be proud of what we acheived.. Not hate us

I posted this And representing our server !!! Trying to recruit a bit Cause we need help here.. We are the last daily active wvw guild in DR.. There are like 3 small guilds but they are not daily active and plays only for a bit

This as a server recruitment is a fail Thank You!!!! Yes some guilds on DR are small & some even need to work for a living & raise their kids so no they aren’t on 24/7 but that doesn’t mean they don’t contribute to the server.

I would like for the events to run longer as in days as I don’t have the time to play the event in just this weekend… Most people don’t it would also be nice if the chest given gave more blooms to get 20 stacks is next to impossible unless you run & kill a couple things & move on to the next hoping others finished the event.

Also the timing of the events are gaped a bit maybe have more of them or closer together in time the maps lag very badly when trying to wp to get to the next group and has caused my client to lock up & crash then I lose my stacks…

Just wanted to say Hey to everyone & give a shout out for our server. Devona’s Rest is one of the best communities I’ve seen. I started out there moved around a bit after 2 years of being on DR then moved back… DR maybe lacking in numbers but we make up for that with persistence and fun.
