It is ignorant to say WvW is not pvp. I could say the same thing about Tpvp. All it is a small controlled environment. It is basically a football game. The goal isn’t to kill the other side, it is to score more points. You can do that by controlling 2 out 3 objectives.
At least WvW, you have randomness and have to be prepared for anything. I find that more of a challenge. I have done both. In my mind, which you will never change, WvW is pvp and tpvp is just a rehash of the same old trash that other MMOs called pvp.

Yeah but the fact that you enjoyed WvW more than sPvP or tPvP DOES NOT mean that the warrior class isn’t flawed(in current design). Your enjoyment of certain portion of the game DOES NOT mean there is nothing wrong with them. Please back up with facts and numbers and not personal preferences!

Ok. Thank you for the explanation! The difference is minor in my case then. I’ll stick with heightened focus then. I want to bump my crit chance a lil more for more balance.

I got about 40% crit chance and around 2000 power. Crit dmg is 50% or so. And yes I meant heightened focus. Sorry for the mix up!

I don’t care if dual axes does more dmg than greatsword. Not the reason why I want to use the greatsword as my preferred weapon of choice. And I don’t have 100% fury. Quite far from it. I am not a glass cannon. I just want to balance my offense and defense.

As I’ve stated on the topic because I’m stuck deciding which to get for my greatsword wielding warrior for PvE purposes as I am not sure which one yields a better result. Thanks for any suggestions and ideas that you may offer. So is it better to get 100 more power and the trait with 10% more dmg or to get 10% more crit dmg along with heighted senses.

Thank you. It’s just that I don’t see any boon or message letting me know that it has been activated that’s all. It doesn’t appear on the combat log either.

Could anyone answer this question please? I’ve tried asking the support team but they suggest that I buy the game guide instead…

I’m just wondering if slotting a armor set with a set of runes will grant any extra bonuses besides the ones listed on the runes or if what I see is what I get. Thanks.

I am wondering if the warrior’s skill spiked armor work in pve. Ever since I got it, I haven’t seen it being triggered. And I don’t see critical being reported in the combat tab either. What’s going on?

I selected the Blademaster trait skill for my warrior that add 10% to critical chance. But when I check my stats under critical, it doesn’t appear to be showing the extra 10%. I’ve tried to remove my offhand weapon(a shield) to see if that was causing the problem, and it didn’t change. So my question is what am I doing wrong?
