The design beats the Scythe skin and “The crossing”, you can tell that much more effort was put into it just by looking at it, I bet Rasmus doesn’t even understand how lucky he is to wield such a staff while we’re craving for the scythe skin and not even daring to think about getting “The crossing”..

It’d be funny if Anet didn’t think about that staff as a possible reward to give out to the players but as far as I know all of the halloween npcs are using weapons and armors which can be used by players. (correct me if I’m wrong)

I wonder if we can get Anet to give us a hint about this mysterious staff~ would be really nice.

Ahh I posted before I read your post, you mean to tell me that this cool looking staff is just some environmental weapon? what a waste of design that is if it’s true.. I smashed Jack-o-lanterns but never got/seen that before.

What do you think about it? are we getting shafted on purpose just so they could surprise us at the end? mhmm..

The Scarecrow has nice physx effect aswell~ it’s the best looking weapon for halloween in my opinion so go check it out yourself*

*The npc using this staff is named Rasmus and can be found near the mystic forge at Lion’s Arch.

They can’t give us exact numbers but telling us if it’s rare as a black lion salvaging kit or whatever (comparing the chances to another item’s chances) would be really nice

I love this suggestion.. I’m okay with it not being a mini but to make it disappear after like a minute or two is just.. WHY?!<
I have both sets and would like the candy corn golem to stay aswell!

As the title says, I think that every holiday item should be account bound so any of your current and future characters could use them.

I’m playing a warrior as my main and I’m sure many players like me who play a melee type of class got that book (which looks awesome by the way) and are thinking of getting that book on their Mesmer/Necromancer/Elementalist alt aswell~

I plan on playing one of those in the future which means I need to prepare myself and get that book while I can and this is where it starts to get problematic because think of it this way:

-I have to create a new character and choose a class which I think I might like better. (Mesmer/Necromancer/Elementalist)

-I have to rush that character through high level zones and waste alot of time and effort due to instant deaths.

-I might get bored with the class I chose after a while.

Creating all 3 mage classes is not a real solution; you waste 3 character slots for the book and end up sticking to the one class you like best out of the three. (Not to mention that I need to get that book 4 times in total going by that “solution”)

Don’t tell me I’m just being lazy because this has nothing to do with being lazy.. I’m probably gonna gamble on which class I might like better and get that book again but please remember that this is how soulbound holiday items are ruining my experience and I’m sharing my thoughts to see if other people have the same issue with this.

Overall, In my opinion having account bound holiday items instead of soulbound ones is better and I should mention that Anet already made this awesome decision on the Devil Horns which are account bound.

Can’t buy or sell anything too! it acts as if it doesn’t detects my inventory so my the “Sell On Trading Post” is blank and the buttons to buy/place order are greyed out because it doesn’t detect the amount of money I have..

Please fix this!
