Guild Wars 2

Hey everybody,

This is my first post on here so I apologize if I don’t follow any “proper protocol” that I may be unaware of. I’m in love with the mesmer and have been looking around to expand my current builds in order to give this class some variety. I have found some great condition builds, a decent “tank” build, as well as a few spike builds, which leaves one build to be found – support/heal. Now I know that there isn’t really a “healing” build anymore with the removal of the holy trinity, however I have played my ele for quite some time in spvp and have been very successful at pumping out heals/buffs and I was wondering if there was a way to do this with the mesmer. I know that are abilities are limited in comparison to the ele/guardian, so we don’t have as much to work with, however I see some potential and was hoping to have some help from all of you!

I was going off of memory and trying to build one I found a while back that had to do with getting as many buffs on you as possible with the staff’s Winds of Chaos and Chaos storm/armor, and then sending them out to your allies with Signet of Inspiration. That much I see is very possible and doable. Add in a few etheral combo fields from feedback and null field and you’ve got some potential throw out even more passive support. However I just tested out the Restorative Mantra trait (X in inspiration) which is supposed to heal your allies whenever you cast a mantra and it didn’t put out any heals to my allies. Is this trait bugged by chance, or am I possibly not understanding its uses? I grouped up with a buddy and fought some npc’s, using both the healing mantra and damaging mantra (with such a short cd I figured I could push out more heals more quickly) and none of the spells were healing my ally. Perhaps it only works in spvp or wvw?

Aside from my current work in progress, if there is any known builds out there for a buffer/support/healing mesmer I would greatly appreciate either a point in the right direction to a link, or simply your feedback/tips in regards to making this build better. My current setup is:
