Bugged guild rush

Today, me and my guild did Guild Rush from 19:10 – 19:40 GMT +1 and NONE of the participants received the floating chest containing the higher-end rewards and the commendations.

Circumstances in more detail:

Before us, the guild [RU] had an undergoing Rush at Durmand Priory (arctodus).

Some of us made it during their period of Rush and got both chest rewards.

The ones who made it during our own Rush received only the low-reward chest that manifests on the ground. None of these participants have completed a Rush within the current week. I have not in 2 weeks. Even after we accomplished the Rush (15/15), we still had no reward.

Please, if possible, investigate this.

With my engi I used full condition damage to level up and it really was nice. Use dual pistols and focus on applying poison and burning to as many foes as possible, also Static Charge and Incendiary bullets (I think that’s the name?) is a good combo to spread 3 condis quickly among foes.

Anet needs to make a decision on Mesmer

the problem i see with this argument… “make this class a smart class”

how do you buff stupid people enough to beat smart people without nerfing stupid people that play mesmers.

the problem is that anet looks at the strongest potential of a class and compares that to the worst players of another class and nerfs to balance that.

confusion wasnt killing good players. and good players were balanced vs confusion specs. same with thief stealth. but it killed alot of dummies. so it got nerfed.

it should be balanced around the best players of each class. if they can go back and forth evenly with even skill they are balanced.

they should balance the class based on thier potential and make people who suck strive for that potential to be balanced vs the best of another profession. but they tone down the top end to make crappers comparable to the best geared/played.

Could not agree with you more, however ANet focuses on the mainstream so that might never happen. The need of the many outweighs the need of the few, even if that need is really stupid. This is the history of humanity basically bro.

I think a few if not numerous things that you have mentioned on your list are not actual bugs, for they could be intended. Note that ANet gave vague/information-lacking skill/trait descriptions. A bug is something that is based on an anomaly, whereas something is meant to accomplish something but it does not accomplish it or works differently than intended. Nevertheless I hope they fix these if really are bugs (most probably are and yes they annoy me too)

A way to fix necromancers (for PvE)?

Not to be an kitten but your friend is clearly one of those people who just doesn’t understand their role as a Necromancer. They are supremely tanky, they are the absolute best at applying weakness and massive stacks of vulnerability, they are the best at keeping chills applied, they use condition damage, which is great because condition damage completely bypasses resistances, so it’s a constant guaranteed damage. There’s a ton of things that make Necromancer’s great, and just like any other class it takes some time and experimenting to really understand their purpose.

All what you said is very true but the issue is, do we need in a dungeon what a necro can provide? No. It is obsolete. A necro is a perfect class when it comes to fighting multiple elites in dungeons and the group is not very skilled or inexperienced. But in a group that has skilled and experienced players, the necro ceases to sustain its usefulness. Same with other subpar classes sadly.

Actually it is ANet’s fault that classes are unbalanced in PvE. I have a necro myself and it was my favourite until they nerfed fear, that was the point where the class became somewhat obsolete imo. Problem is, as with other weaker classes, that the necro is superceded in every aspect by said warrior/guardian/mes. If ANet could revamp some classes like engi necro ranger for PvE to represent a unique role and not get beaten by certain classes in every and each aspect I might add, would make the game better overall.

PS.: zerker warriors are the way to go anywhere, they will NOT die if mes and guard protect them, that’s their job.
