My only gripe (Other than the difficulty to land the gs1 aa chain and the gs 5 seeming like it is harder to hit with) is that Soul Eater is not meaningful. I feel like it should do %health healing or even %damage healing to make it stand up to the other two traits in the line.

That being said, I am still going to run it just because its different.

Hey, maby the reason that A-Net has not been releasing a lot of HoT info is because they intend to release it ON the anniversary.

I believe that the game is worth the price. To all those who say that the expansion is not big enough, you need to remember that we are paying for not only everything that we have seen, but also a ton of things we have yet to see. This includes the next few seasons of living world.

Also, To all those people who are complaining that new players are getting a better deal for pre-purchasing it, the people who have been playing the game since launch have had a unique opportunity in the form of the entire first season of living world which nobody else can go back to play, and we also got season two for free to go back and play if we were online at the time.

TLDR: Is the expansion worth $50?
Yes.

Great game with promising content to come. No reason to complain as you would pay nearly the same for a WoW expansion which has less content.

Build vitality if you want health. thief is a stealthy medium armour class. not a warrior

I would pay the $50 if they gave us an outfit/skin/costume (still buying it anyways)

I get both sides of this argument and honestly I’m going to end up buying HoT regaurdless but my only problem is that players that have had the game for a while will be getting less value for the same price. a problem that pertains to me: I saved up money and I currently do not have a job so I only have the money for the expansion but I have a hankering for that dope Exemplar Attire.

TLDR: I’m getting the game but I believe long time players should get something small for their loyalty (Like a box that lets them choose 1 700-800 gem outfit or some equivilent gem store item. $50 isn’t that bad of a price.

HoT Pre-purchase up now.

I think with all the flakk they are getting they will make a slightly discounted version for people who already have the game.

Plea to reconsider adding "melee staff"

Inimicus, please stop this sad cry for atention. they already have announced that there will be no “land spears” or similar weapons added. A-net is working with the weapons that they have to create something interesting and personally I have no problem with melee staff.

I hope that you understand that this whole thread is rediculas and A-net will not take your opinion seriously after this long of a development cycle. Not to mention all the animations and programming they have already put into this melee staff.

Traps are still going to be underwhelming.

I really think that the trap LB guard will be super OP. After watching the ready up, I noticed that you could combo traps and traits to almost insta kill somebody. You could use the dragons maw, the whirling blade trap and the revel trap in combo with some traits to absolutely destroy anybody who walks over it. Personally as a thief I am terrified of this. I can just imagine that i’m roaming in WvW and I walk over where a guard set his traps.
