ROTA.4103

Since yesterday I have the same issue from Germany (ping>1k). In the mad king labyrinth some instances are ok, but some are horrible. Even in some instances of the living story I have these problems.
Surprisingly my wife has the same pc (equal in hardware and nearly in software) and she has much less trouble although we are playing together over the same internet connection in the same instance of a map.

3D Vision: Texture is invisible for left eye

While in the character creation, there is a texture in different colours which is below the words like “Human”, “Norn”, “Male”, “Female”, “Engineer”, .. . This texture is the background for these words and this uni-coloured texture is only visible for the right eye but not for the left one.

I have a GTX 670, Win7 and I have this bug with multiple driver version from nvidia.

3D Vision: Rendering at wrong depth

ROTA.4103

There are some things which are not rendered at the correct depth if 3D Vision is enabled on. I have a GTX 670, Win7 and I have this bugs with multiple driver version from nvidia.

To be more precise: With depth I mean the axis perpendicular to the monitor (Z-Axis). Positive Z-direction goes outwards the monitor and the negative direction is therefore inward.

  • Symbols over characters (like up- and downscaling or map completion) are rendered to much in positive Z-direction (this is also posted in an other thread, but with an other explanation)
  • Links to items, which are sent to the local chat, appear also in a bubble over the character. The link in this bubble is rendered to much in positive z-direction.
  • In menus, where one can decide between several choices (e.g. personal story where one can decide between two paths), the mouse icon jumps between two depths. One depth is in the main parts of the menu and seems to be the depth according to the background and the other parts are the buttons/links for the choices where the mouse icon is much more in positive Z-direction.
  • The background of in game-videos or the background in the character creation seem to be rendered in front of the characters. I mean the background has a higher Z-value than the characters. This effect is not strong, but somehow it is sometimes strange.

The following is not a bug but a wish:

  • If there are objects which are between the monitor and the character (or object very closed to the monitor) then the mouse icon seems to jump into my head. That is very exhausting for my eyes
Maybe one can limit the mouse icon to maximal Z-value?!?
