They’re not going to make a special skin just for the Cleric’s gear. It’s a whole lot easier for them to just copy and paste the cleric’s stats onto the existing ones.
Anet’s already made special skins for specific types of gear.
Also, please no wings. We don’t need wings in this game.
Too late hun, Corrupted Orrian Mantle. Maybe you haven’t gotten that far yet.
This would make a great Mother’s day gift?
Hint… ArenaNet…HINT!
Just a thing…
Its not fair giving any guilt to players…The only guilt is by dev…
The guilt absolutely is with players who are too lazy to take the time & actually learn their profession, so they spam forums & support begging or even demanding nerfs. These kind of player are spoiled. I’ve been playing since Closed Beta & wish Arena Net stood behind their product in GW2 & not nerf profession; because it was way more fair by GW2’s release than it is now.
They decide that PvE deserve a 100.000dmg 100B warrior and immortal guardians but NERF all the rest.
The reason any of the professions were ever nerfed were players. I’m trying to be nice, but that’s the plain & simple truth.
Its selfishness for the e-sport dream (nobody plays pvp) and lazyness to not separate it from PvE/www despite having the chance….
That is all.
Well, that’s just my point. When GW2 was released—aside from talent glitches with Engineers, each profession was great for every aspect of the game. One’s playing style seemed more important to selecting a profession than anything else. Anymore a lot of lazy players, herd to which ever profession they believe has the best advantage, causing other lazy players to cry to the devs for nerfs.
Spoiled, petty, sheeple brats braying to invisible shepherds because they’re too incompetent to learn & think for themselves.
Sorry, but I just feel this game is being ruined piece by piece by QQers.
>_< Mina
People need to:
- Learn their profession & its workarounds against others. If I can do it, so can you.
There is no workaround for anti-boon skills on elementalists. Regardless of what build you pick, it’ll revolve around boons in one form or another. Which mean that the ‘nagging’ we do as you’ve called it, is actually valid. Especially since the main perpatrator, D/D, depends on boons the least of all ele builds.
Yes there is. I learned mine, so can you. I learned my workarounds against every profession; including mine. Moreover GW2 is my first MMO. My husband taught me beginner’s PvP—me who never played anything outside a console & controller or dance pad, so if a newb like me can learn, no one really has an excuse.
I don’t want to seem mean, but it is what it is. Learn your profession.
<3 Mina
I truly feel sorry for any profession that gets nerfed & always discourage others from petitioning other professions to be nerfed. People need to:
- Stop QQing & nagging devs to nerf other professions, because those nerfs also affects PvE
- Learn their profession & its workarounds against others. If I can do it, so can you.
- Stop sharing their builds because this leads to its nerfing
Nerfing any profession often leads to a chain reaction where those who are nerfed either complain about every other profession or all roll onto a profession they perceive has an advantage. Both actions lead to nerfing every profession in vain attempts to create a balance that was thrown off once the first nerf occurred.
I honestly enjoyed when each profession had a specific advantage over the others, if the player learned how to use it. Now we’re faced with so many of the same profession, using the exact same rotation, because they’ve been nerfed so much, it’s all they have left. It’s less & less fun to know just by the profession, exactly which moves they will use—in order. The surprise & intensity are gone.
If these nerfs continue as they have been, soon the PvP aspect of GW2 & all combat will become too bland to enjoy. When people stop enjoying a MMO, they leave. Let’s get GW2 at least to its first year.

Hihi =)
Please create new hairstyles for the Makeover Kit. The hairstyles I’d love for both women & men are waist length like in the collage below.
Please make it happen. Thankies <3

Hihi =)
For months I’ve been thinking it would be so nice if Tailors could craft Town Clothes. I know Town Clothes are an Item Mall thing but what if Anet sold Town Clothes recipes in the Item Mall for Tailors. In fact selling recipes for vanity items in the Item Mall would be awesome & greatly drive up revenue for Anet. How about these sugesstions?
- Armorsmith Armor Glowing Crests (People choose their own color based on the Dyes they’ve already collected)
- Artificer Toys for Town Clothes (Toys that have a special effect or glow when used)
- Chef Shapeshift Food
- Huntsmen Firework Toys for Town Clothes (Harpoon guns, longbows, pistols, rifles , shortbows, torches, and warhorns that all shoot some sort of fireworks.)
- Jeweler Jeweled clockwork minipets
- Leatherworker Skins to wear over Battle Gear (All Armor Types)
- Tailor Town Clothes (MORE Dresses, Gowns, & Skirts PLEASE! I’m tired of wearing pants!)
- Weaponsmith Weapon Glowing Crests (People choose their own color based on the Dyes they’ve already collected)
This will also provide a great incentive for people to complete their crafting. Please make this happen. Thankies <3

Please change Well of Blood into shades of red, rather than green or blue droplets in the Mark of Blood ability. Especially with the Well of Blood as most people flee from it, believing it’s an attack from enemies. Mark of Blood, looks more like an Elementalist’s water spell than anything from a Necromancer.
Thank you for your time & take care.
Hmm… not into multiple guilds never have been that’s why we have a friends list lmao! Need way to much influence for upgrades that benefit everyone in the guild for people to be in a ton of guilds, the whole point is to work as a team and have fun doing so. There is a friends list and group feature that works just fine
Anyhow.. Teraphas no offense or anything but you get influence for whichever guild your representing doesn’t matter if your in a group with them or not.
5 guilds wouldn’t suggest a ton. The idea to merge the guild chats of those to which one already belongs; not increase the number they can join.
One major flaw. Other than the brokeness of just joining as many guilds as possible just to create obsene amounts of influence to make everything irrelevant.
The one major flaw is logistics. You belong to guilds a b and c. I belong to c f and t. Another person belongs to t r and s. You and I talk in guild chat and understand each other. But the other person only sees my part of the conversation. Now imagine a few hundred half conversations at once. It would be purely useless
Plus you do know you only earn influence while working with guild mates right? If you are running with them why not just rep anyway
I think you misunderstood.
It would work much like any other chat, except one would see messages from all of their guilds in a single channel, rather than switching representation.
When people mistakenly send messages in the wrong chat, others only see part of that conversation. Not that messaging mistakes should matter, being the conservation’s would be between the people intended anyway.
Concerning the Influence feature, sharing the influence earned across all guilds to which one’s a member—however small, would help in preventing need for creating swollen guilds without paying hundreds or more gold to gain the various Guild Events. Two example of how this Influence feature can work are:
- One earn 10 Influence. All of their guilds also gain 10 Influence.
- One earn 10 Influence. A percentage of that 10 is distributed with the guild being Represented gaining the most of the Influence earned, 70:30 if in 2 guilds, 60:20 if in 3, 55:15 if in 4, 52:12 if in 5.
It’s not neurosurgery. No reason to make this change appear difficult.

Still no Ascended back for healers?
Is anyone at Anet working on an Ascended back item with Cleric stats?
I really like this idea! The multi-guild system really does need a way to unify guilds! Whats the point otherwise?!
No, pick a guild and stick to it. There is only 1 excuse for being a member of multiple guilds and that is if the other guild is just for extra storage.
So you’ve never had more than 1 circle of friends? Get outta here…
You’re absolutely correct Snow White <3
Writing up all 8 different dungeon tokens in the UI would take up quite a lot of room as well.
However I do agree that it would fix some problems (while of course causing at least one problem)
I would rather have a list of currencies in my UI, than no room in my bank tabs.
(edited by Ra the Eternal.1635)
what should be gotten rid of is the ability to belong to multiple guilds, what a silly a community destroying idea for absolutely no gain at all.
I don’t about that Catisa =)
I enjoy my guilds, & think the option to join multiple guilds strengthens the GW2 community. These features would improve our community if the chats of our guilds were merged & our earned influence went to each.
Now being coerced to represent a guild because of perks or threats of demotion or expulsion, …that’s already proven to disrupt relationships. Our Guild Representation mechanism as it exists now, is the real culprit actively destroying the GW2 community.
Especially since the Guild Mission patch, I’ve personally witnessed friends who began GW2 to play together only to drift apart because of they’re coerced represent different guild. Same thing with people who became friends in game, but are again coerced to represent guilds different of each others.
It’s sad really…but I’m optimistic Anet would fix this unintended problem.
It would be great if we had the option to merge the chats for all of our guilds, so we don’t have to keep switching representation just to keep up on current events.
Even better would be a feature that gave the influence we’ve earned to all of our guilds simultaneously. This would eliminate the need for some Guild Leaders & Officers to coerce members into representation. Moreover people can represent the guild the most enjoy, without having to worry about expulsion from other guilds their friends or family share.
Unity > Division
Please fix this issue.
I expected the ascended amulets & (earring) accessories would be included with the new ascended rings as they all were under this glitch.
Good afternoon.
Instead of collecting Dungeon Tokens, have them as currency instead. It would be a simple matter of listing the amounts in our bag windows just as we already have with Karma, Laurels, & Gold.
Changing Dungeon Tokens into separate currency is more efficient & here’s why:
- Saves precious bag & bank space.
- Saves time travelling to or summoning a bank
- Amounts are immediately known, rather than counting stacks of 250
Thank you for your time & take care.

Please allow BUY-4373 to sell Pristine Fractal Relics (20 Fractal Relics), Vials of Condensed Mists Essence (30 Fractal Relics), Globs of Coagulated Mists Essence (40 Fractal Relics), & Shards of Crystallized Mists Essence (50 Fractal Relics).
Currently, I’ve literally 2558 Fractals Relics that are simply rotting in my bank, in hope Anet expands their buying power. Thank you for your time & take care.
Allow us to purchase from BUY-4373 the Ascended accessories that now cost 40 Laurels + 50 Globs of Ectoplasm or 5 Gold & 12 Guild Commendations, using Pristine Fractal Relics; maybe between 30 & 50.
That way guilds that wish to remain small aren’t coerced by their desire for progression to inflate, or save 40 Laurels.
Please fix this, I just got a shard of mist essence and would really like 20 resistance and infuse my ring
If this doesnt convince you maybe this will!
WIN!
Same problem with my ring; had to check forums just make sure I wasn’t losing my mind… xD
I noticed after the update there still were no ascended backs nor even a Prototype Fractal Capacitor with “Cleric” stats.
Perhaps an ascended Cleric’s back can be made using the Mystic Forge. My wife Mina mainly plays using cleric equipment, & has been on me about this as if I work for Arenanet. She even came up with a design, seen in the picture below. Folded wings with elongated feathers, but “phantasm” style like the Wall of the Mists shield. She calls it the “Grace of Dwayna” & marriage aside—if done, it would look pretty great on just about anyone.
Please make the “Grace of Dwayna” or a Cleric’s Prototype Fractal Capacitor. I’ve prefer my head attached on my shoulders. hahaha!
Thank you for your time & take care.
Anyone else get a Mystic Forge Stone, instead of Laurel after completing the daily?
I did.
Yup, just been confirmed about a day ago by a dev on another post that ‘Final Rest’ IS in game but very, VERY rare.
Link to thread or post?
I know this has probably been mentioned before, but please ensure the loot table includes a significantly higher drop rate for Rare & Exotic gear. Essentially, people expect Story Mode bosses & chests to yield more Rare items, with Explorable Mode dropping more Exotics. One of the major deterrents of players running anything outside of Fractals of the Mists, is the absence of fair & appropriate gear for the dungeons encountered; especially in Explorable Mode.
This is also the reason a decreasingly amount of players participate in Dragon, Temple, & other “Big Chest” Events. Some of us—like me, love GW2’s lore & will simply complete everything possible just to unfold the story, & the satisfaction of completing challenges. However for most players, lore & challenge are not worth enough to devote their time to the wonderful work Anet’s done with GW2. They need more “tangible” rewards. Moreover as prices continue to rise in the Trading Post, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for honest players to afford key items—not just gear, but also crafting materials. Add this with the stagnantly low Gem to Gold ratio at the Item Mall, & we’ve all got a exponentially growing problem that will only worsen. Significantly boosting the drop rate of Rare & Exotic items would help greatly in balancing the game’s economy.
I understand Anet’s trying to fight TPRMTs (Third Party Real Money Traders), but the efforts put forth so far are largely ineffective against them; hurting us players more than anyone TPRMT company. The only true way to fend off TPRMTs is a combination of 2 factors:
1 – Banning all suspected TPRMT accounts, &…
2 – Capping all prices of items sold on the Trading Posts according to rarity. For example, Junk = N/A, Basic = 20 Silver, Fine = 50 Silver, Masterwork = 1 Gold, Rare = 5 Gold, Exotic = 20 Gold, Ascended = N/A ( 500 Gold if any Bind on Use are released in the future), & Legendary = 1000 Gold.
The application of these 2 measures would eradicate most of the TPRMTs. Not only will TPRMTs have to waste more resources on creating new accounts, but along with capping prices on the Trading Post, this strategy creates an environment where TPRMTs are coerced to spend increasingly more to earn less until—at least in the case of GW2, the game becomes a negative income stream; driving them away. Remember, the TPRMT business is a multimillion US dollar industry. Arguably it’s because of the TPRMTs that Free To Pay & Item Mall MMOs ever came into existence. Micro-transactions in MMOs are King nowadays all thanks to TPRMTs.
The tactics most MMO companies use to combat the TPRMT problem do very little—if anything to impede their profits, & they know it. Capping the prices alone won’t work because TPRMTs will just increase their number of accounts beyond the MMO’s staff ability to keep up. TPRMT companies will always have more inexpensive employees than any single MMO. Banning TPRMT accounts alone will only encourage them to increase prices of items they sale on the Trading Post, which in turn, drives all prices up. Anyone who’s played any other MMOs affected by TPRMTs that used banning & lowering drop rates, would verify that using this tactic only raises prices for honest players.
Wow…it seems I went off into 2 issues, yet they’re completely inseparable. If Anet follows this advice, then TPRMTs won’t have to be a “necessary evil”. GW2 would be much more fun, appealing, & fair, without Anet seeming to renege on its anti-grinding stance to gaming any further.
Thank you for your time & Take Care.
What is Lindsey Murdock actually meant a chest from a Large boss, & not specifically a large (Glorious) chest?
I suggested this a while ago & hope Anet finally gets around to doing it.

When I began playing several weeks ago, the going rate for Exotics on the Trading Post ranged between 5 & 20g. Nowadays, I’ve seen Exotic gear at 100+ Gold. I understand the Gold Farmer Company (GFC) issue can be daunting & tedious. However simple & fair solution would simply place a price limit on the Trading Post. Nothing sold on the Trading Post should cost over 20g—20 Gold should be the limit.
One of the selling points of Guild Wars 2 was to reduce grinding. Having to gather 100 Gold per weapon or article of armor does not reduce grinding, by any stretch of the imagination. For those who enjoy grinding, one may always opt for the tier gear sold by vendors at a premium.
By capping price at the Trading Post at 20 Gold, one effectively kills two birds with one stone. :
1. By creating a increasingly discouraging environment for GFCs. Banning accounts will never be enough to stop GFCs. GFC have the money, resources, & wherewithal to simply hide their IP & create another account, ad infinitum. However, banning & setting a price limit on the Trading Post so low that these companies actually take serious losses, is far more efficient. Arenanet can never out-ban the GFCs, because players—your customer base, are always their customer base. If nothing on the Trading Post cost over 20g, players would still be challenged while Arenanet constricts the profits of GFCs to such Guild Wars 2 becomes an unprofitable venture in which to invest. Attrition is key. Starving & Banning GFC accounts is the only solution to a stable MMO economy.
2. The reason most players leave MMOs is the perception of False Advertising. One of the greatest touts of Guild Wars 2 was little or no grinding (Colin Johanson – http://www.onrpg.com/MMO/Guild-Wars-2/video/Guildwars-2---No-More-Grind). When any single item costs over 20g, any way it’s sliced—one must grind. When companies keep their promises—stay to true to what they advertise, they keep their clientele. For example, when Pizza Hut suddenly stop selling pizza to sell tacos, they’d lose nearly all of their pizza customers. Remember what happened when Coca-Cola changed their recipe to compete with Pepsi? Don’t change the Guild Wars 2 recipe or “bait & switch” us please.
Thank you for your time.
Please implement the feature to place collectibles into our Guild storage; preferably with a limit of 10k per stack. The Guild Collectibles could work as an option from our inventory, just like the Collectibles option does for our personal banks.
Like many other guilds, we have members whose specific job is gathering materials for our crafters. This would save us all a lot of time, waiting for Guild Gathers to log on so they could mail the rest of us mats we need to progress in our crafting. It would save us a lot of money for those who simply give up waiting & buy from the Trading Post.
Thank you for your time & take care.
Precisely.
It’s the same with events, missing bosses either those to escort not proceeding.
HAIL!
The Army of Eternity exists to unify the scattered remnants of Tyria in jest for a Utopian existence, & utmost bastion against every threat to our world…
As it stands, for every blessing, there are new challenges to surmount. Our odds may appear bleak, although with cunning, ingenuity & organization we can best those trials. My best suggestion for now, is for us all to train, hunt, & prepare well along by raising our populations with our fellow Tyrians. It would not be easy, just as anything in life that’s worthwhile. However, if we are to be the blade of the axe, head of the spear, crescent of the scythe, Fate demands us & only us to endure the tempering flames, icy waters, & unforgiving hammering until we are a fine weapon…
Visitors who are not yet kin with The Army of Eternity, I Lady Of Pain: Mina—Turpolis of The Army of Eternity extend my hand to you in proposition in earnest hope we will become kinsfolk. For Guild Masters of clans 50 members or less & their various officials I propose you merge with The Army of Eternity.
Each of you will retain your current rank & powers. The only difference is you will become one with a guild where everyone has a voice & every idea, which doesn’t threaten our fold significantly, is not ignored, but explored. In simpler terms, you will be a part of an increasingly larger whole—our family!
As we grow, we will attempt unification with guilds of larger numbers, for then The Army of Eternity shall hold more clout & prestige. In this aspect The Army of Eternity—from the Neophyte to myself, our very spirits will gain in seasons; only that our max is 80 seasons, while no maximum inhibits The Army of Eternity…
With this, I bid you all well valiant kin. It is you whom are truly chosen, the architects of our world’s destiny….
Our prerequisites are as follows:
•Exist on Darkhaven
•Must be Active at least 4 days weekly
•Must be willing to help in our expansion (Promotion is based primarily on Level & Recruitment)
•Have a broad sense of humor; from campy to blue, nothing is sacred. (Disclaimer: If you’re under 18 & see in guild chat or hear on our ventrilo something too raunchy, it’s not on us. We’re not your parents! xD )
Benefits of merging unto us:
•Uniting with an Active, Expanding, Structured, organization. You will never be just another number, however large we grow. All have a voice.
•Guild Leaders begin at 3rd in command. All other ranks maintain similar privileges of their former guild.
•Uniting with an organization that has hardcore members in aspects of PvE/Exploration, SPvP/WvW, RP/Lore. We also have a casual base, for beginners or those who simply want an escape from skritt-race of kittening. xD The Army of Eternity has a “clique” for everyone; though never are we divided.
To join immediately, either shout in World ( /y ) chat or from anywhere—someone is always on, or add any of the following members & whisper them when on.:
•Mina Lady of Pain
•Rogrim Hellscream
•Tanyl Pureheart
•Myssa
