With all the feedback from the community about the hammer and it is still in the same stale state it has been in for almost 4 years now. We have seen every classes weapon updated apart from guardians set (shield took 3 years after daily complaints)

This thread alone shows the amount of respect guardians get from Anet. I remember a rangers pet (i think smoke something) had the move removed and the ranger community raged at it, not 24hrs later it was changed back. For years we have complained about various issues concerning the class about our traits and and weapon skills with no avail.

Now look at the class… it has been pigeon holed into using the same 3 trait lines with no diversity. The Guardian forum is now full of the same posts either complaing about the class or saying we are in a good spot (devs after 3 and a half years how can you not tell we are being sarcastic?). The class honestly needs to be looked at and i think the guard community needs to start raising their voices A LOT higher if you want them to hear us.

Think i prefer the frost field better as that would give us frost armour when blasted which would help out our team and enhance our support

we have been trying to change the spirit weapons for 3 years now and all Anet did was take all those suggestions and made the scrapper. I don’t even bother with the spirit weapons anymore.

so a thread thanking the dev for not nerfing our class has been turned into a thread to nerf our class. Seriously there are about 100 other threads you could have kittened couldn’t you guys have left this one alone?

i would personally prefer to trait so that the symbols become a random field
it would make combat a lot more interesting

Having the damage increased on #2 so it compares with LB would be awesome but i would love to have more functionality with skills 3-5, but i have now found that they are really good for PvE bosses to destory the break bar

it has already gotten 3 nerfs, anymore and people wont use it

yea but shouldn’t both activate at the same time? or is it first the shield and then the stab?

When i activate F3 i get stability, so why am i able to be stunned and the shield not activate?

• Dragonhunter F3 virtue , Shield of Courage.
  This skill is blocking EVERZTHING from EVERYWHERE , instead of just projectiles from front.
  Its basically kitten shelter, twice with elite recharge.

Explains a lot of “DH OPness”

In what sport do you go up to the person you are fighting and ask them,
“Hey, how do i defeat you and your team?” none
i am finding druids, engis and mesmers hard to fight but i am not going to their forums and asking them how do i fight and kill them, no i keep playing pvp so i can learn it for myself. Because it is more fun that way.

Hammer #1 move the symbol off of the AA and get it cripple or another cc to keep enemies close to us
Hammer #2 increase cool down but move the symbol onto this
Hammer #3 increase the number of tendrils to 3 and include a pull fuction to it (this is to keep enemies to us
Hammer #4 increase number of targets that can be hit or lower cool down
Hammer #5 should be able to use on the move, people shouldn’t be able to move out of it without stability and if activated twice makes the move into a vortex so it sucks players in.

^ would make hammer a lot more enjoyable to play with as you have more options

Nope, i think josh likes having guardians have only 1 weapon trait to do with the hammer. As it stands there is no reason to use hammer.

Problem is we need more people to speak up about it and their are to many who will say that the weapon is fine even though they never use it. Out of all the classes Guardian weapons are the ones that have been the least updated in the 3 years the game has been out. sad but true

So basicly that skill is a 7s block against everything which is really broken but it’s also a defensive skill (stunbreak/stab/block) with casttime which is really inconvinient and clunky.

I would say they should nerf the duration to 3s (4s traited) but make it instant in return to make it less broken and less clunky. I would so prefer that version of the skill. :<

kitten off you sub Guardian don’t come in here trying to nerf a class that fought for our class to be better. I don’t see you complaining about a wars Endure pain/shield block, rangers greatsword block or engis shield block. So why come in here and kitten about an attack that can only block attacks from frontal assaults?

The new F1 pull combined with a Mighty Blow or #5 right after does feel really satisfying however

The problem with #5 has always been that it is to slow and never catches anyone inside it without the use of another move. You can’t use it while moving, enemies glitch through the ring all the time and now everyone has stability or a move to get out of it easily that the move just doesn’t matter as much as it used to.
I mean class that are using skills that make them invul are able to just walk through it like it is nothing.

Look at the hammer on every class that can use it and look how fast and fluid the skills are. Our hammer skills are outdated and everyone knows what to look out for with a hammer guard. Hammer needs a revamp so i can use my Juggz again

TBH it is mostly the 3 seconds of superspeed i cared about most, it really helped in and out of combat. Without it i feel so slow as a full trap guard.

Runes of the Trapper: The stealth and superspeed effects of this rune have been reduced from 3 seconds to 2 seconds.

Guess they were fine until guardians started to use them..

Ah of course, we got healing power from that trait line before
forgot about that, so now on a zerk i heals for nothing lol
more reason for why that trait line is useless….

Why has this been nerfed down to the ground? Every move in the game hits 10x harder then this ability heals now. Wars dodge roll crits at around 4K and our heal only heals for a small 157hp. Why do we keep getting screw like this i’ll never understand…

Making GS3 into a rush like the wars and Ham2 into a smash it will bring back the synergy of being able to use JI with these skills. At the moment Hammer doesn’t feel worth using.
Please s start fixing things properly instead of these half- kitten d ways of doing things.

I always thought they should add resistance to “save your selves” since atm if you use it at the wrong time it is a death sentence. But i get this feeling they will give it to war since war gets everything

It seems as though it would be a great fit for one of our skills or weapons skills to have this ability. To have it only on a rangers pet seems like a waste to me.

I’m with EE and having the same problems
my connection is fine and i log into the game fine.
But my ping seems to be really bad during prime time (6pm-12pm)
and the game cannot be played during these times
this has been happening for about 4-5 days now, so after BW3.

Nice to see something different from the usual medi burst build

There is an item i want to sell for 1g 1s 22b, The listing fee says that it will cost me 5s 6b, but for some reason it says the projected profit is 91s 10b.

Where has that extra 5 silver gone to? it does this for all of my items and i am losing out on a lot of money due to this.
