Guild Wars 2

From lvl 2 to lvl 80 there is ghosts and risen etc driving large portions of the Tyria landscape. Hell the MAIN story is centered around this undead zombie apocalypse. Can we not come up with something better? The undead is such a cheap easy go to and has been done to death. It is way past time for something new.

I know it seems hard to make an “epic” fight not a dragon or huge lolpumpkin that dwarfs dozens of players in size. But why does it seem all the bosses have to be zomghuge? But im getting off my point of the post.

What’s next? What is in store for future content? What do you want to see? If all we have to look forward to is a different colored dragon every few months, or any more kittening ghosts/undead/risen/zombies ANYTHING NOT BREATHING I’m gonna have to bow out. Where are the GUILD WARS? After the dragon threat is gone (hopefully after this release version of the game) are we gonna see some NPC Guilds make power moves that require a beat down or is it gonna be more of the same?

Exactly, we should be able to arrange our skills on the bars the way we want to, its bad enough we are limited by a static placement, let alone the fact they change them around for no reason. No one cares about nerfs to cooldowns or anything else. The rage is about ORDER.

Either Let us arrange them the way we want, or dont kitten with them.

So how does rearranging the skill order have anything to do with retaliation or combo finishers?

Bought game yesterday morning, spent 12 hours trying get higher than 7 fps standing still.

Just got home from work ready to put in another 12 and boom.

Downloaded this patch and now at 40+ fps on my ancient 4850.

Yay.

Also, while running in windowed mode, my whole computer is running super slow when the game is running, even if minimized.

I started out with 12.6 but read that the 4xxx is legacy and not supported past 12.3. But either one i have the same problem. I am standing in starter area right now with GPU-Z running:

GPU Core Clock: 625.0
GPU Memory Clock: 990.6
GPU Load: 100%

Only thing i see out of place is that it says:

Memory Usage (Dedicated): 91mb
Memory Usage (Dynamic) 121mb

Its a 512mb card but using less than half of the memory and is at 100%? How do i make it use all of it?

Ok, so i bought and downloaded the game this morning and have not been able to move from the starting area yet.

As the title says my FPS is unplayable. All settings max, lowest possible or auto detect my fps will not go above 10 and I need some help.

First my relevant specs:
Intel Core 2 Quad 6700 @ 2.66
ATI Radeon HD 4850 512mb (CCC 12.3)
6 GB DDR2

Now I know my system is dated but 7-10 fps? I play Day-Z, TERA, SWTOR smoothly. I have read a lot of the fps threads here but most are talking about pvp and large events but I am having these troubles in the starter area.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling GPU drivers from 12.6 down through 11.2 and get the same thing. Driver sweep in safe mode before reinstall the whole nine yards. I can load up TERA right now and jump into a rift with 200 people and play fine, little lag yeah, but it is playable and more arguably more graphics intensive.

If i run gw2 in windowed mode at lowest possible resolution my GPU activity is 99%. Something is not right.

So what gives? Can my system not play this game or what? Is anyone playing with one of these cards? If not, what do i need to replace? I know my GPU is getting old but should be able to at least run this game. Should i overclock my cpu? Upgrade my memory?
