we are pushing up ranks a bit, but we need a few more players on Ring of Fire.

We started out getting screwed about 1 year ago, went to bottom rank, we pushed up to 8 recently through handwork, coordination and learning from fights and not being salty.

Currently RoF (Linked with GH and UW) is a nice place to be, we get some nice fights, have some ppters, open mics, scouts etc. We have several decent guilds that are getting stronger.

Our main problem is early morning coverage and perhaps mid day sometimes.

RoF is pretty chilled, not much salt happens here so if your looking for a new home consider moving to our server

RoF could really benefit from;

Few more scouts (that can scream help in chat and build seige/disable/use seige/refresh seige etc)

Few more pugs for opens (we getting like 25+ sometimes up to 60 on TS events etc)

1-2 more 15man ish guilds

1-2 more pug commanders (especially early birds)

In return you can get;

Nice community (that helps with builds or anything gw/ts related, guilds help each other here when required/needed)

I posted that comment for all to view, but copied here it’s out of context.

You are the guy making RoF salty and you left and spoke like a devil upon a shoulder to several good friends of mine.

Then people talk rubbish, all myself and Zoi guild try to do is Grow rof. I was part of CC that left, I commanded them I only wanted the best for them.

You missed all the posts where I basically begged them to stay actually my friend….

You are just trying to hard our server, good job no one actually reads these forums. However it hasn’t hurt us, we are only getting stronger.

Also some of the core old CC (my friends etc including bob) have now moved back to RoF as they realise they made a mistake and listened to the wrong people.

So for anyone looking for a nice server, plenty of guilds, pug commanders, roamers/scouts and stuff check RoF out, I can promise you won’t be disappointed.

Oh did I mentioned drunken raids + giveaways XD

We are doing alot to boost our server/community, weekly meetings for all (also occasional rof commander meetings). We actively encourage people to sign up and participate in our community website and share “viable” builds with people so our pug blobs get stronger (which from our recent K/D improvements I would say is working) pug commander are now getting more joining on TS with good builds and better fighting skill.

So, if you are a roamer, scout, pug commander or guild looking for a new non bandwagon hype home, then come check our RoF, enjoy your stay and hope you stick around with us and see through the salty plebs that try to break us apart for their own personal enjoyment.

oh p.s this guy above butters is actually banned from our website and TS, he begs to be unbanned, why? because our server is awesome ofc.

edit: he also moved to SFR (no offense to SFR i have some friends there) but they have dropped rankings, wonder if you caused drama there also? or just rallybot everyone and make them lose ranking?

Moderators can you please post some guidance here like what information we can provide you to help diagnose the issue?

Like give us a list of things

CPU
GPU
RAM
MB
etc

or is there any diagnostic tool you would like us to use and upload/post here the export information?

This way you can probably work out if there is any common issues with OS, GPU, CPU etc or certain drivers.

Alternatively if it’s a problem with the game we are all doomed probably…

seems alot of people have this issue, even on low settings on a i7 980m gtx SSD 16gb quality ram (laptop, but still it should get 60 fps+ with medium setting without breaking a sweat surely?)

I have a switch so you restart in GPU mode rather than on board so I don’t have optimus i think as it can only use one at a time.

its not in battery mode ever whilst playing and all the stuff is set to gaming performance and battery stuff all disabled etc

i’ll perhaps try and old driver i recently updated nvidia but not through windows update i am using win10 however, perhaps running it in win7 compatibility might help?

i do have a lower CPU thank you however and probably a slower SSD but still with the cpu and any i7 16gb i shouldnt have any fps lag really….

OK so after last few patches my FPS just gets worst…

I have Nvidia GTX980M, i7, 16gb ram, ssd etc yes its a laptop but it runs other higher end graphical games at 60 fps+

guild wars when there is a few people in wvw im dropping to like 10fps…. i even tried setting ALL graphics to low and I get like 25-30 fps which should not be happening.

I’ve tried a few things like clearing all settings, local.dat, repairing/redownloading the game using 32bit/64bit client

oh i have a 200mb fibre connection with decent upload also so that shouldn’t be any problem..

any help? i see others have same issues with graphics cards that should be more than capable of running this on max settings?

AM perhaps linked with a server that had too many for a “linked small sever” or what ever it’s called.

and TBH Am only really had a blob after we went to bed, so perhaps you have players just not at the main prime time for european server?

I saw maybe AM blobs to be honest, they all went down very easily maybe that was the problem? Now with the other server AM seems a little stronger with more numbers also.

I concur, change the matchup or add new smaller server to the mix like suggested about. RoF has NEVER had the numbers with the majority of these stupid matchups you put us in….

Please remember there are still a lot of players in the lower tier servers that enjoy this game, don’t alienate them and lose further players and $$….
