If your going to remove portal guns, you may as well also remove (or ban from use in dungeons) warrior 1-hand sword leap, guardian greatsword leap, engineer rifle jump, the jumping mechanic, mesmer blink, thief blink, mesmer portal, ele blink, ride the lightning, ele hammer. While your at it might as well remove necro summon heal, necro spectral walk and about 10 other things that I’m not going to bother mention.

Point: You had a kittenty experience with a couple pug kitten doesn’t mean they should remove anything from anywhere.

The only video I’ve seen so far was of someone wall jumping to get up there, so let me ask, what’s the difference between wall jumping up somewhere to hide as a mesmer, and just wall jumping over a gate and portaling people in? I don’t see a difference.

I have seen the video you are referring to and I feel there’s a difference between jumping 20 times on a wall to get over it and jumping once.
