Yes, I agree with you completely. Perhaps the number of affected folks was less then some critical number determined by marketing. But I am more likely to believe that there wasn’t enough pressure/interest to actually fix this because of other changes to the game that would have required a refix after the audio system changes. Whatever, you can’t hide the fact that we had to wait a month for a game breaking correction to be applied.

On a scale of 1-10, Arena gets a -1.

Regardless of when we finally see this bug fixed, I really thing they need to take a long and hard look at how fixes and new content are prioritized. In a market where your customers have a pretty large choice of games, it is the difference between being successful or not.

It’s a sad state when a core quest fix gets lower priority then holiday content fixes. Patch was suppose to happen on the 5th and gets pushed to the 15th. Me thinks someone in the QA group needs to get his head out of his kitten and realize that this bug is affecting 1/3 of their customers…

I am very disappointed that this (or any, for that matter) story line quest has gone for so long without being fixed, yet Halloween patches arrive on a daily basis. Frankly, the longer I play, the more warts I’m finding on this MMO.
