Zeoli makes a good point. Lotus Poison (15 points in power) is amazing if you’re dagger/dagger.
Other than that, I’m not really sure. I know some foes are a lot stronger than they appear, like most dredge IMO. Are you focused in a trait line or two, or do you have 5 points in everything? :p
Looks like you’re talking about a pure pvp perspective.
I’m going to have to say that in PvE back fighting is pretty helpful. The extra damage can help you get out of a rough spot when downed.
I agree with Corrosive Traps. I haven’t used it nor do I see any real use for it.
I think Furious Retaliation is pretty good. Obviously in a fast paced pvp environment 45 seconds is a long time. But it’s a solid 20% crit for 10 seconds. Combine that with things like executioner (20% more dmg when target below 50% hp) and it looks a lot more appealing, don’t you think?

Are you making sure your weapons are armor are up to date?
What trait lines are you in? Power? Vit?
Also be sure not to fight things more than a few levels higher than you, you’ll get squished.
I’m 65 now, and I’ve found d/d can be suicidal when dealing with some champions. If you’re going condition damage, you can put on a lot of hurt by using Death Blossom to bleed targets as much as you can. Plus, DB lets you evade attacks while using it! Then you can always swap weapons while waiting for your initiative to come back.
I’m back to Power/Precision now, but this is what I did when I was heavy conditions
