I just believe that ANET could change the unload skill. Since when one is wielding P/P, there is no escape mechanism apart from using deception skills etc, they could at least change unload to be a something like withdraw/roll of initiative. Instead of just evading, while evading, thieves unload their bullet. Not only it will look cool, but it will solve some problem faced by P/P thieves and also some love for P/P. Just my thoughts though.

I want a dual-wield sword for my thief. Unlike warriors, sword can be deemed as a weapon that does not bring down one’s agility while moving. that is why ninjas uses them. How I wish there is dual wield sword

Well, frankly speaking, it really depends on your play style) There are different kind of varieties that you can try out and from there, pick out the best one. Moreover, it depends on which dungeon are you playing. Certain dungeons you may want to use double pistol, some you may prefer sword+pistol. But I can tell you that condition build is great not only for dungeon/pve but it is beast for WvW and Spvp.

Honestly, thieves are not OP, Yes they are definitely good at 1v1 situation but might find it difficult fighting a group of enemies alone especially skilled enemies. Most players complain that thieves are exceptionally powerful but you must also take into consideration your own build. Being a glass cannon and wanting to fight thieves is a no-no unless you know your limitations and able to overcome the loopholes. I played WvW almost all the time and find it difficult to fight against enemies that have high toughness and vitality. Due to thieves low hp pool and with 15 k health build, even though they are tanky, their damage still hurts.

Well, guys, in the end, this topic would lead to saying that thieves are useless… You can’t expect a crab to walk straight because they are built not to walk straight right…

After hours of playing both warrior and a thief, I find that thieves are much better “preventing” your team from dying. The blind thieves provide can help reduce chances of the enemy attacking you and indeed proved its usefulness most of the time.

However, thieves are not meant for tanking. but they still can but not as efficient as other classes only with the right builds. Not that I don’t support thieves(I love thieves and it’s my main) but thieves are special compared to other classes, they have the ability to help revive downed ally safely

Stealth has been a useful mechanic in the game be it PvP or PvE. It excels if used correctly.

Until now, only a few class could get rid of aggro from oneself and those are classes that have stealth capabilities. As when compared to mesmers, thieve stealth skill are much better due to the low cool downs.

While warriors do actually excels at high damage output and have the ability to soak in more damage compared to medium or light armor classes , it does not mean that they are better than other professions. Each and every professions were made differently so that when they are combined, a solid group is made.

Though in the end, it depends on the player themselves. Thieves is a great profession and it still is although it can still be improved further. I don’t mind having them in my group as long as they do what they are suppose to do.
