In my opinion, as a wvw player my experience has been mostly poor with berserker. After weeks of trying different builds I just cannot find anything that works well enough to warrant continuing to play. Growing a little tired – maybe I’m impatient? I am just going to stop playing until more is done to balance other professions.
Good luck to those who are still holding on, and well done to those who found something that works for them.
Why is there no dev response on this yet? Weren’t we going to be updated on the 23rd?
I just thought the exact same thing, logged on to see if there were any updates but surprised after 3 weeks still nothing and this thread has been going since BWE3.
Anxiously waiting to hear feedback too post BWE3. I believe some specialisation tweaks are already in the works for some of the others (Druid and Daredevil).
I can only echo the concerns for the Berserker specialisation which our fellow warriors have already voiced.
In short, I stopped playing Berserker after 1 day into the BWE simply because I’m a competitive player and felt to compete against any other competitive player in pvp scenarios the Berserker fell way short of any usefulness when compared to vanilla warrior. Im just not willing to sacrifice any of the must-have traits for a gated buff which feels lacklustre in execution.
At this point in time I do not have any reason to sacrifice traits from the strength, defense, and discipline lines or feel that it is worth swapping out any of my utilities for the newer ones introduced via Berserker. I have no interest in running a condition warrior either.
Bearing in mind the elite specialisation is not the be-all and end-all of warrior and is an option, I hope in the next few weeks I’m compelled to, or given more reason to consider running a Berserker when the expansion goes live.
I do like the idea of this specialisation and have really enjoyed trying some of the other
specialisations over the weekend.
There should have been a disclaimer stating that anyone would be locked out for whatever the duration upon spending their gems before selecting the option to transfer worlds.
Furthermore the fact that some players could indeed play after transferring during the current season are now unsure of how long the lock-out duration is for.
Maybe add a timer and actually communicate in-game so those that have transferred can actually see how many days / hours they need to wait at least as a bare minimum?
Clarification in-game is required at the point of sale.
