SAnD and WAR has some great fights last night in BP BL. Thank you all who were there. BP, man you guys pushed us out of Garrison tons of times just when we thought we had it! Excellent job. DR guys were doing well too. We had a great time. Keep up the good work all servers!

Thank you all for your kind words and support. I will admit, we were rather apprehensive to post this because we feared tarnishing our guild’s name even more than it was but as a guild we unanimously decided that it was the honest and right thing to do.

We will pick ourselves up, dust off and move forward. We sincerely promise to (re)earn everyone’s respect out in WVW on Maguuma as well as opponent servers. Again, we thank you all for your understanding on the very embarrassing issue.

Which server has better activity during 7pm to 2am Pacific Standard time DH or DB? Group of about 10 friends picked the game up and looking for a home, most of us are Pacific/Mountain time. A few have to transfer so want to make the right choice, thanks in advance. Maybe someone has a screenshot of 10pm & 1am PST Score?

DH and NSP have the larger force up until around 11pm at that point DB has a shift change then starts making waves until as late as 12pm the next day then we start losing ground to NSP first then DH comes on in force.

As a commander of DB I normally choose to attack DH the first placed server during the match. However, tonight we pushed NSP first simply because we are getting annoyed of the double teaming. I will continue to do the same every night till it stops. You will notice the proof of this by the widening gap between DB and NSP. So your strategy is not working. Either way, DB has stood their ground on their own. We do not need to double team on another server to win or get where we are.

I love paranoid people and good conspiracies! Someone said the following on our TS the other day and I thought it was hysterical: “They think we are coordinating perfect attacks with other servers when we can’t even coordinate attacks with our own!” I believe you give us too much credit. :p

Each server will always think they are the victim. I guess it is how the gaming world is. If “you” win, it is skill. If “they” win, there is some other reason that victory was stolen from ya.

Please do continue to attack us because we will be attacking you… and DH. Don’t take it personal, its all for fun.

When ever that happens, change the last number in the url -1. If its 2, put it 1. It’s a forum bug that Anet is to lazy to fix. It happens when they remove posts. The Forum thinks it should be page 2 but it is still page one. They Hide a post.. they do not delete.

There have been some pretty great strategies on all sides. A very nice close battle that can still go any direction. I love weeks that stay interesting all week. And just think, we get to do this all again next week!

Edit: If people would just look and think for a second. DB is right on our Tail. Chances are, they will not get first. Their best bet is to knock us off to get 2nd. So helping us makes no sense at all. And we don’t want them this close to us either and we also need points to catch up to DH. So, we will get points where we can, including DB’s lands. Having DH with less points would be beneficial but not at the expense of giving DB points to close in on us.

But, if it makes you guys feel better that you believe you are 1v2ing the WVW, then by all means keep up your claims. It only makes you look paranoid and short sighted. But, still I will say the fights have been fun.

BTW, DH, last night in DH BL, when you guys took the keep back (I think about 930PM EST) with that Mesmer trick: (Got a Mesmer in and he left a Mesmer Portal behind then ported the entire army in on top of us.) That was absolutely awesome! Good job on that one. I had no idea WTF was going on until we were wiped out. Well played.

Weren’t the Orbs taken out of the game? Or are they embedded into the Garrison or something like that? Also, they reach into Lion’s Arch if so? And lastly, if it was a WVW buff, I would have seen the buff over my 6,7,8 hot keys. As I mentioned, the only items I had there were my signet bonuses.

I noticed this the other day in WVW. I thought perhaps it was something wit that. But since I have been paying attention, I have noticed it elsewhere. Is this a bug or intentional?

My Warrior goes from 2900k Health to mid 25K randomly each time I sign in. I have nto changed ANYTHING. No Traits, Equipment or skills. The last couple days I have brought him to LA just so I am sure it is not an area thing. I have removed all my gear and put is back on and it stays the same. I am not grouped and the only buffs/boons are the signets I have on.

A couple guild mates said it happened to them too.

I did a quick search on the forum and did not find a bug. Anyone have input or info?

There is no such thing as spawn camping in this game. With 3+ exits per base, it is really pretty much impossible to stop folks from leaving if they wanted to. Most times I do not even bother, I run out the front and cut left or right, and rarely does anyone try and chase.

People are there by choice and largely the fighting occurs there because it lets folks on both sides retreat to guards when needed, but still able to fling stones at one another. Boring as watching paint dry in my opinion, but they seem to like it.

It is still Spawn camping. I am not sure why you are so conversational to anything Toble writes but regardless if they can go out another way, it is camping at their spawn point, hence spawn camping. Please chill out over the semantics. This is why we went astray last time. Or if you have an issue with Toble, take it to PMs.

Actually there was a lot of OS out there with us as well as one of your commanders. OS actually took the Garrison. It was not really about the points last night. It was just SF and NSP having some WVW fun.

Anyway, I wanted to say to the SF guys in SF BL lat night that we had a great time. Thank you for coming out for some fun WVW even though the points are so slanted. There was some awesome back and forth! It never ceases to amaze me how the battles with SF are such a blast.

Yeah, I like to PvE. I like to WvW too. Yeah, I joined WvW like 3-5 hours after reset. Yeah, I was having fun with the new content.

Yeah, NSP had all the maps. Terror was in nerd rage state because the other guilds didn’t show up for reset. It was very unpleasant to be there, reading all the insults, bullying, even racist comments (We have a very large latin american population, I’m from Chile) and we must deal with racism everyday in SF, it’s a shame.

So I just left the battle. It wasn’t fun to be there at that time. Later I’m informed that Terror is leaving the server because of these events.
Well, I prefer to be in the same tier or even lower, but not have to deal with racism, bullying and tears, because I decide to enjoy a PvE weekend event.

I had a lot of fun the 2 previous weeks and I wanted to have fun this week too, I’m disappointed that because of the PvE event and the improvement of NSP, somuch tears were droped in our server and a lot of wvwers are leaving.

I think this week was just a setback for SF, but if more continue leaving then it is harder to come back.

I am really sorry to hear that mate. It is too bad that people take the WVW to that level. That is what I like about NSP. You don’t get flack from people if you do not wish to go WVW. It looks like you guys may be better off when they leave. Once you settle in a proper tier, the fights will become much more fun. Of course if ANET does not fix the World Jumping, this will just remain demoralizing to everyone.

I would like to stress one point Toble touched on; NSP is not set on winning at all cost. In our last NSP Community meeting it was firmly agreed by the Guilds/Players that are still here, that we are looking to have a good time when we are in WVW. It was very heartening to hear so many agree on this point. Not too many servers can say they same. Win or lose, we will try to give the best challenge we can. I think we proved that last week.

In all WvW/FvF/RvR games, population balance is hinged on casuals, always has been. When you are losing, casuals are off doing whatever, when you are winning casuals are out in droves. Add in a new PvE event or an all <color X> map and the shift will move harder in those respective directions.

This is pretty much what happened, imo. The turnout just wasn’t high enough at the reset because of the PvE. Frankly, the notion that “Oh, well NSP has the same event, no excuse” wasn’t the excuse. The excuse is that our population, which is different from all the other server populations, decided to PvE rather than WvW. Congrats to NSP for getting a large turnout (truly) on the reset. However, because of the huge blowout on the weekend, the casual players aren’t going to even bother and its even harder to organize since (as I’ve been told) we’re the “unofficial” Latin server. That’s just how it is. You’ll find the WvW guilds doing what they can to keep bettering themselves, but when it comes to server competition, it’s just not going to be there for this week. It’s why Terror will be leaving for more competitive play; it gets boring flipping supply camps.

This is sadly very true. But, NSP did not come out of the gate with the intention of taking such a lead. Last week we got trashed right off the bat and spent the entire week trying to catch up. Our attempt was to avoid this situation.

Unfortunately, this means it will not be a great week for WVW for any of us. Oh well, at least we have the event to keep us occupied!

We are going to come in 3rd this week but this week has been MUCH more fun than last. EBay is so pompous and full of themselves it was refreshing to fight good servers regardless win or loss. Last week EBay would have 98% of the maps and claim is was due to their awesome leadership and that we were all equal pop. :\

DB, I hope you stomp EBay next week but I really would rather they keep out of our tier so I am kind of torn. :P And if you do beat them, they will just make up excuses like they did this week vs Mag. Heh

Its tough because having 98% of the map is even more boring than having 1%. At least when you are getting beat, you can head out to go take something just for fun. If you have everything, you can’t even do that.

I understand the way ranking works but I wish they would have an intervention and place those poor server that got decimated due to World Jumpers at the bottom of the rank. At least then they would have a Servers to play against that would be semi fun.

Either way, fighting SF has been awesome. DB just has Off Hour (To us) warriors that neither NSP or SF can compare to so they are not as enjoyable to battle ATM. Next week they will go vs EBay which will be interesting to watch since Ebay, after all their “we reborn, we great now” talk last week, went and got housed by Mag. Good job Mag! Sorry, I had to go there…

Yep, thank you ANET for allowing Free Server Transfer. It’s really helping! :\

Someone mentioned an idea that if you Xfer, you are blocked from WVW for 7 or more days. I think that is a great idea but suggest more like a month. At least until they get the Guesting up and running.

Last night was a great fight in SF BL with SF! Some great battles guys! The one at the Garrison Gate latest forever! You repelled us very well. Great job.

I introduced a couple of my guildmates to WvW last night and the Garrison Gate battle was their first WvW battle ever. They had a lot fun and I think the odds are very good they’ll be back for more WvW action! Thanks for the great time last night guys! See you on the battlefield!

On a different note; NSP is not down and out. And with all due respect to FINE, they were not our “most” anything. We still have a ton of awesome guilds left on NSP with both numbers and organization. Last night we had our first get-together to reboot the communication we lost. Tuesday night was just 3 of those guilds working together on SF BL and as you can see, we did ALRIGHT!

We may not have the numbers we once had but once we get things rolling, when you see us out there on our prime time, plan for some good battles. All the NSP guilds that met together last night are here to stay. To us, it is not just about winning, it is about Server Pride and having a good time. To all Server Jumpers (due to loses because sometimes there are good reasons to move servers), just keep jumping and please don’t jump to NSP. We don’t want you. To all the Guilds that have stuck by their servers, thick and thin, my hat is off to you.

We have focused on bringing in players to cover a wide range of times. We wish for all our players to have plenty of people to chat and play with while keeping a solid community. As for “Only One Guild Left”, Please don’t be ignorant. have you ever known when one large guild leaves a server that only that guild leaves? Once a vacuum happens like that, many follow. And we have lost “One Large Guild” just about each week for the last month.

But, we are not down. We are rallying and reforming. We may not win this week but hope to meet up with you guys again soon! I just hope you guys can do the same when it is your turn to lose “Only One Large Guild”.

Fantastic WVW guild! We run with them a lot and they have a great player base.

To those that believe Ebay, NSP and SF have relatively the same WVW population; you may want to wake up and kick the denial for your own benefit. Keep thinking that way and the following weeks are going to be a real eye opener. Embrace your strengths and weaknesses and try to work on them. Do not pretend it was all skill and leadership and the ones below you simply had less.

And to anyone that thinks they are immune to World Abandoners/hoppers; don’t be ignorant.

Our early morning presence of 10 players were wiped out by the overwhelming strategic minds of Northern Shiverpeak’s commanders who made plans to turn on their alarm clocks weeks ahead of time. In other news, Ehmry will be taking back 50% of the map for the next 18 hours until they feel it’s safe to come out and duel our gates again.

The few SR members (And I say few because most SR players are pretty awesome) yelling about NSP focusing on them are just being ignorant. NSP in no way is trying to assist EB. That would just be plain stupid.

Plenty of times when we are trying to go north in EB BL, SR hits us from behind. We push them back over the bridge, avoid hitting their tower in hopes to make it clear we do not want to focus south, yet they will hit us again shortly after. Even with that, you do not see us coming on here yelling about Team Ups. NSP have our eye on getting more points than EB. That is the simple truth. If you are seeing some isolated indecent, please note it as such; same has Hackers, Botters or Exploiters. If there was some grand plan to pick on the SR, I am sure the evidence would be a lot more transparent.

So please stop the raging conspiracy theory silliness and go have fun!

Instead of getting mad that someone does not know what server you are on and also having to write it in your post, why not use “Signature” and put your server there? Are people embarrassed to show what world they represent?

It does look like a fun tactic and I’ll admit I only watched half of it but I think you are mildly exaggerating when you say small group destroys a zerg. Each fight you had a decent number compared to the other and when you are talking PreMade group vs random Pugs it makes your number difference even less of a factor. I think the title is a bit misleading, perhaps you should have just labeled this Awesome Mesmer Tactic?

Either way, that is devilishly clever and legit use of the Mesmer Portal! Good job to you guys.

Well said Besetment. We have been on the World Dominating side and the completely crushed side. Both extremes really bite. But to be honest, at least if you are on the losing side, there is something to do. You can grab a small group and run around and take camps and smaller events.

When you have everything, there is really nothing to do at all beside sitting around, waiting for something to get taken when everyone on the map zergs it for some serious PvE! LOL

On aside note, anyone hear an ETA one when Anet will fix their issue and get Free Xfer turned off?

I was wondering what happen to you! I seemed to have missed this so will follow up with you then. Enjoy the travel!

Well, I am certain you guys will have a good time in the tiers above us when you vs more Like-Pop servers. A majority of the server are yo-yoing up and down the tiers due to Server Hoppers it is tough to see where we will all be.

I cannot WAIT for BOTs, Hackers and Exploiters are reduced. I see ANETs claims they are removing but not seeing the results.

Lets be honest, if a Server has a +90% world domination, it is not skill. It is lack of participation of the other worlds for what ever reason. Not trying to steal your thunder but I am just speaking the truth.

With the open server moves, the player base on each will fluctuate week to week. It is more volatile than the stock market! Most of us have lost a little interest in WVW until they fix this. I think we will see a big change once that happens.

However, the fights have still been fun. We cannot compete with the numbers so we have focused on to 2 maps to make the fights more exciting. Hopefully next time we meet, we can be more competition for ya!

And to all those who seem to think we know who you are by name, please put at least your server in your sig. “My Server” does not help us know who you are talking about.
