2 spam on jalis / malyx

PvE / Raid question.

Generally you wouldn’t use your 2, since your sword autos hit like a freight train, and mal/jalis simply augmented your damage even more. Now with sword not quite being as crazy as they were, and having to depend on 2 spam to compensate for that lost damage, I’m wondering if 2 spam is “okay” to do at the expanse of shorter duration on hammers / demon.

Any feedback would be great.

Guild Halls could be so much more.

That wouldn’t be more to some people. It certainly wouldn’t be more to me. I’m not sure what percentage of the original Guild Wars game participated in GvG, but I’ve always suspected it wasn’t as popular as people who played it thought it was.

Except WvW is the wild west, he’s talking about a controlled environment with spvp gear rules, and organizing gvg in wvw map basically screwing over people out of slots is a terrible alternative.

Your idea doesn’t sound that dissimilar to WvW. Have your guild claim a keep, and protect it while you upgrade it. Organise GvG with other guilds on the open fields.

I’m a GW1 player, but didn’t feel GvG was that big a thing. Compared to Heroes Ascent which seemed to get a lot more attention with the game wide announcements when teams and guilds (and regions when GW1 first started) won.

GvG was big enough to host two large public world championships, and create automated tournaments afterwards. Guild Halls atm are nothing but a big shiny (and gold sink to push more gem sells).

Need some raid advice for a rev

Just got my rev to 80, and geared him out. I’m interested in raids, and pve in general but I’m unsure how dps revs actually work in terms of rotation. From the metabuild.com guides I read, it seems glint/shiro or glint/my is the way to go. They usually involve running out your energy and swapping to the next stance, and rinse repeat while staying on S/A and auto attacking (mostly).

However from other revs that I talk to, they don’t do this. They usually sit on a stance (like demon stance) and have the mesmer (if there is one) poor quickness on them.

So yea, any advice would be very appreciated.
